I always start gravitating towards Hibiscus as the weather starts to warm up.

Tea, Always

Like many of us, there has always been a belief in something greater, a higher power, a frequency, that I firmly believe exists in everything.
I’ve spent much of my life trying to meet that presence, to feel it not as an idea but as something tangible.
In an unexpected way, tea has become that vessel.

Like our morning coffee awakens us, these plants carry their own kind of intelligence, an ability to shift perspective, to soften edges of a heavy mind, to realign energy.

Tea feels like a bridge between the seen and unseen. Each cup a quiet ceremony.
A reminder that nature is alive within us.
The Earth speaking in a language older than words.

And maybe that’s the beauty of it.
In a world that often feels disconnected, something as simple as a cup of tea can return us to presence.
To that subtle frequency we’ve always believed in.

Hiii, been a while but this spring energy is making me come back to life!!

This Saturday, April 18th at 3pm at the Rutgers Garden I will be watching a good friend @savannahdanz perform her Senior piece. Sav is giving me a special opportunity to perform a tea ceremony and I couldn’t be more excited <3
