Nicolas Dubois is a French photographer, filmmaker and naturalist based in the Paris region. Trained as an environmental engineer, specialising in ecology and the protection of natural environments, he turned to photography and filmmaking to explore his relationship with the living world.

"At the foot of bell towers among the gravestones, deep in old mountain forests, and even between the buildings of our cities, I love spending time with wild animals in all their diversity. Once you learn to look, you quickly realise that they are all around us: leaving traces, moving through the landscape, and simply getting on with their lives." – Nicolas Dubois taken in Paris, France by @lom.label

In 2023, @___tomk thru-hiked the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada, recording nature soundscapes along the way. He used LOM mikroUši and Uši for half of his recordings, for their light weight, audio quality, and reliability in adverse conditions. He hopes his soundmap connects listeners to these spaces in a way that a more visually oriented medium cannot.

Deepal Warakagoda has been a field sound recordist for over two decades originally focusing on birds and other animals in the tropical Indian Ocean island Sri Lanka. His recordings have appeared in several publications, both local and international, and in global sound archives. His interest later moved to capturing sounds of fauna in stereophony to represent their presence in nature in a manner even closer to reality. Recently he initiated a Sound Map project on Sri Lanka to present stereophonic soundscapes of its natural habitats as an audio tool to aid future nature conservation programs in the country. He is a contributor to the ‘Sounds of Your Park’ global project.

We supported Deepal’s project with our equipment via LOM+you program and invite you to check it out at www.srilankanaturesounds.com

Hello everyone, we are happy to announce that Geofóns come back in stock tomorrow (Thursday)!
📆 6. 8. at 16:00 CEST (UTC+2)

⚠️ They may sell out fast
⚠️ Shipping within 2 weeks since Monday

We managed to upgrade the packaging of all new Geofóns without changing the final price. We found nice waterproof cases with pick-and-pluck foam, made in Italy. We deliberately didn't opt for a custom foam cutout -- this way, you can arrange the interior however you like and fit in other accessories as well. I sincerely hope you'll like it! taken in LOM SPACE by @lom.label

Elektrouši by @lom.label is one of those things that completely changes the way you think about sound 💡

It captures electromagnetic fields produced by electronics. Laptops, phones, hard drives, game consoles, power supplies - each has its own unique electromagnetic signature ⚡️

These recordings aren’t added effects. They’re the real sounds generated by the devices themselves, revealing a hidden layer that’s always around us but impossible to hear without specialized equipment @lom.label

OUT NOW: @viliamsolovic — Clouds and Meshes (2026)

After almost two years of preparations and fine tuning, we are happy to present you a debut of upcoming Slovak composer Viliam Solovic. Born of chance operations—dice throws governed by predetermined rules and harmonic anchor points—the foundation of the piece emerged through process rather than expression. Yet in following this rational principle, theme and emotional content seeped in unintentionally, woven into the work as implication rather than statement. With contributions by @hronskyy @mihalovaea @ha_ela Elena Lago, design by @gretafedorahomzova & @estermladenkova , mix & mastering by @iridescentmeowmeow

Released on tape, Bandcamp and most streaming platforms! taken in LOM SPACE by @lom.label
