I was recently invited to stay overnight at the @longbeachmarriott hotel and had a great experience. The room I had overlooked the airport which had stunning sunset views.

I was primarily there to check out their culinary offerings, which included @tamarindosmargaritabar —their evening Mexican restaurant and bar, and the Terrace Grille & Patio, which is a breakfast and lunch buffet. Most people don’t know that hotel restaurants are open to the public, and I figure there may be a hidden gem amongst them in Long Beach.

I first checked in and then had a massive dinner at Tamarindo’s which was silly and fun. The margaritas arrived with a sparkler, and the fajitas were lit ablaze tableside.

I was partial to the burrito which was hefty and flavorful.

They had this churro dog which was churro stuffed inside of a donut that was split open like a hotdog bun, and topped with ice cream.

I also spent a little time in the M Club Lounge which was a great working space that had continental eats.

When I woke up in the morning, I headed over to the Terrace Grille & Patio which had a breakfast buffet, and also some items a la carte—such as waffles.

In brief, I enjoyed my staycation at the Long Beach Marriott, which is a convenient spot near the airport. taken in Long Beach, California by @longbeachmarriott
