I get many questions regarding what appointment you should book under for the silk press based on your length of hair. Here is the length guide so there is no confusion, you will be charged for the proper length, please book accordingly. If your hair is thicker than the average head of hair, you will be charged an extra fee of $10 extra product+extra time= extra money.

Long story short: Jesus saved my life.

For real, I was a hot mess—filling my life with empty things compensating for all the emptiness inside of me. I thought I was having fun, but so much of what I called “fun” was really just distraction from the healing, the surrender, and the nearness to the Holy Spirit that my soul was actually craving.

I met a Savior who didn’t just save me from who I was—He began teaching me how to choose Him, so I could become the woman He created me to be and the woman He already sees.

Jesus didn’t just change my life. He gave me a life worth living. by @longlive.queen

My days are so random and so full, but honestly, it’s a good lil’ time 😂. This particular day was all about maintenance, with a little relaxation sprinkled in—depending on your definition of relaxing.

I started my morning with some God time in prayer and my devotional. Then I headed to the chiropractor for an adjustment, spontaneously got my hair cut AGAIN, and after a long conversation about golf with my favorite person, I decided to hit my local walking park and take some swings. I don’t know if that’s technically a thing, but I made it a thing… so I guess it’s a thing now judge your mom this is my ghetto dream😂.

Realizing I didn’t get the physical fulfillment I needed from that, I headed to the gym for a quick ab workout before going to get a massage—which, surprisingly, I’ve actually been keeping up with lately.

PSA to all my service providers: TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY! Your body is literally your business. 🙌🏾

After that, I picked up some color from work, grabbed my kiddos, and headed to the salon to pull a late one. Duty was calling, and I answered. 🤷🏾‍♀️ But I was super grateful to wind the night back down with a little studying before bed.

After nearly four weeks of carefully removing roughly 200 Sisterlocks, we’ve finally reached the finish line. My client did the majority of the hands-on work, but I was honored to support her throughout the process and help bring this chapter to a close.

Now, we’re shifting our focus to restoring, strengthening, and nurturing her hair. We’ll be taking our time to rebuild those bonds and create a healthy foundation before we introduce color.

Because sometimes the most beautiful transformations begin with starting over, slowing down, and letting healthy hair take the lead. 🤍

One chapter closed. Another one is waiting to be crowned. 👑

Just because it’s not my business doesn’t mean I won’t treat it like it matters.

I believe every opportunity to work is a gift from the Lord, and wherever He places me, I’m going to give it my best. My day job deserves the same work ethic, excellence, and respect that I give my own business.

Owning a business doesn’t make me too good to serve, learn, work hard, or show up for someone else’s vision. If God trusted me with the opportunity, I’m going to steward it well.
