HBCU Week Wilmington started with a POWERFUL Prayer Service that moved EVERY INDIVIDUAL IN THE ROOM… Here’s a couple notes!!!
- Write the vision and make it clear… Wait!!!
- BE STILL!
- Stop being nosey!
- pack your essentials!
- Step out on faith; He will supply your every need!
- What is owed to me will be retroactive!
- Elevation!!!
- Pray, be detailed, and clear!
- Speak those things into your life! You have what you say. No vision is too small… Sky scraper energy!
- LASTLY: Apologies are coming, not just any apology but an apology that will humble the individual who’s apologizing!!!!

Many individuals, including myself, are so appreciative of Ashley Christopher and her Vision… In fact, I’ve had the AWESOME OPPORTUNITY to volunteer over the past two years. Let’s not forget if it wasn’t for ASHLEY’S VISION many inner city students would not have the opportunity not only to receive on spot acceptances to HBCU’s, BUT I AM SPEAKING FULL SCHOLARSHIPS. What other AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMAN YOU KNOW WHO HAS RAISED $70 MILLION DOLLARS, over 6K on spot acceptances to HBCU’s, and more than 10k Juniors and Seniors attended the WILMINGTON COLLEGE FAIR ALONE (this does not include ATL this year!!!)? I’ll wait…

Now, it’s time WE hold politicians accountable… For Velda Jones-Potter to stand up this evening at the city council meeting and state: HBCU Week is nothing but a publicity stunt and a political photo opp is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!

When we are attached to individuals others don’t like or have issues with, we become the target. You know the saying ‘GUILTY BY ASSOCIATION!?’ For those who do not understand let me break it down: The issue is not with Ashley; the issue or concern is with the current Mayor, Mike Purzycki! The relationship she has with that man has NOTHING TO DO WITH HER VISION!!!!! WITH OR WITH MIKE ASHLEY IS SUCCESSFUL!

I’m respectfully asking Velda to publicly do the Last note I posted! Your words were harsh! As an individual I should look up to, I am truly disgusted with the Words you chose to speak over HBCU WEEK!!! Even if you chose not to apologize; HBCU WEEK WILL BE INTERNATIONAL MARK MY WORDS!!!!
