Recycle Your Batteries, Canada! and Longo’s are proud to host Canadian soccer legend Christine Sinclair at Longo’s Bathurst, and you are invited to come say hi.

Take your prime rib from good to PERFECT 🍖 🔥

A great holiday meal starts with quality ingredients. But the last thing you want to do is mess it up because you skipped some important cooking tips.
 If you’re making a bone-in prime rib roast for Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas dinner or a big family gathering, you need to save these....

The 5 rules for a perfectly cooked prime rib:

🥩 Buy high-quality, bone-in + well-marbled roasts for richer flavour and tenderness 🧂 Dry brine overnight for deeper seasoning and a better crust 🌡️ Take the chill off before going into the oven, for more even cooking. This is a great time to brush on softened butter with herbs.  🔥 Roast low and slow, then sear hot for that rosy-pink center and deeply browned crust ⏰ Rest it a second time – after cooking – for a juicier roast

The goal? A crisp, deeply browned exterior with a perfectly pink, tender, medium-rare centre.

And whatever you do… don’t skip the thermometer. Your roast is too big – and family meal too important – to leave it to guesswork.
