20 years ago, I was a homeless teenager sleeping on the rough streets of Los Angeles with nothing to my name but a gym pass and a dream.
I used to walk into Gold’s Gym Venice just trying to find an escape. That’s where I met IFBB Pro Chris Cook.

He didn’t just critique my form—he changed the trajectory of my entire life.

Chris saw a kid fighting for survival and chose to step in. He took me under his wing, broke down the discipline of the sport, and when the workouts were over, he made sure I had a safe ride back into neighborhoods most people wouldn’t dare drive through.

People think bodybuilding is an individual sport. They see the trophies, the heavy sets, and the solo grind. But the truth? Real bodybuilding is built on brotherhood. When the veterans—the giants who came before us—reach down and pull the next generation up, it does something that goes far beyond muscle. It builds men. It builds leaders.

Fast forward 20 years later. Because one man believed in me when I had nothing, I survived those streets, built a thriving career in business, and sculpted a life I once only dared to imagine.
