Reintroducing Jessi Ellen Photo.

I’ve been photographing weddings and people all around Oregon and beyond for over a decade now. Over the years, the thing that has always remained the same despite the trends that have come and gone is my love for people. A love for documenting them, preserving feeling and tiny details of human interaction.

I’ve done a lot of Soul searching about what Jessi Ellen Photo represents. I love an editorial moment and I love pushing boundaries when it comes to posing and traditional portraits. But the heart of what I do has always been about remembering how it all felt.

I’m sentimental to a fault and can get nostalgic about something that happened literally yesterday. I know how quickly the present becomes something we wish we could go back to and I love that photographs can take you right back to exactly how life felt at that time.

I realized the feeling I’ve spent so much of my life trying to preserve is exactly what I want my photos to give other people. That’s what I want my art and Jessi Ellen Photo to represent.

I create future nostalgia.

To all the couples I haven’t met yet, I can’t wait to create some future nostalgia with you. Let’s make photos you’ll want to come back for the rest of your lives.

Claire and Tyler are the kind of people you meet once and immediately want as friends. There’s something about their energy that is infectious and makes you feel at ease. It carried through every part of their wedding day.

They chose Long Table Farm in Eugene, and it couldn’t have been a more fitting backdrop. The space itself feels like an extension of their values: intentional, community-driven, and rooted in connection. The owners welcomed me as if it were my home as well. Giving tours of the land, firing pizzas in the wood oven, and collaborating with the bakery so edible flowers from the farm could be woven into the desserts. Every detail reflected that same spirit of care. I immediately fell in love with this venue.

Surrounded by incredible vendors who felt more like kindred spirits than a hired team, the day was seamless. Every person involved added to the warmth, the joy, the intimacy of the day.

And at the center of it all was Claire and Tyler. So deeply in love. So full of life. They’re the kind of couple who not only light each other up but also make everyone around them feel part of something bigger. First meeting in preschool and then meeting again later in life. Photographing them was a dream.
