Color theory, but make it personal. Our team traded fabric swatches for lipstick shades at MYX N Match in the West Village, mixing custom colors from scratch.

Thank you to Pagett Smith of @trioresources for hosting, and to Alyssa Weiss of @thisisw21 for joining us. Finding the perfect shade is a familiar challenge for a room full of designers, and it was fun to take that eye for color somewhere new. by @looneydesign

@hokualakauai is open!

Curio Collection by Hilton's first resort in Hawaiʻi sits above Nāwiliwili Bay and Kalapakī Beach, with views to the Pacific and Hāʻupu Mountain. 210 rooms, 23 of them suites, with floor-to-ceiling windows and private lānai.

It was an honor to work alongside architects @harthowerton and @ahl_architects to design the interiors, and we are thrilled to see Hale Hokuala officially open its doors.

We had a great time at @stay_and_gather’s StayConnect in Chicago.

Senior Designer Josh Raether represented our Chicago studio, joining leaders from @jll , @iigdesign, and @harken_interiors on the Business of Design: The Design Process panel.

It was a candid conversation about collaboration, the realities of the design process, and the lessons learned along the way. Proud to see Josh bring our studio’s perspective to the table.

Hale Hokuala Kauai opens next month, and we are proud to have designed the interiors of the first Curio Collection by Hilton property in Hawaii.⁠
⁠
The resort's name means House of the Rising Star, and every design decision was made to honor that connection to place. A nature-inspired palette of sand, greenery, sky, and water. Natural textures throughout. Spacious private balconies that bring in light and trade-wind breezes. Spa-inspired bathrooms designed to feel like a residential retreat rather than a hotel room.⁠

While the Dallas studio was celebrating College Game Day, our founder Jim Looney was repping his alma mater on site at JW Marriott Detroit Water Square, ahead of its February 2027 opening. Hands on from start to finish, and the finish line is close! by @looneydesign
