Matchmaking, but with a twist! 🎉 Our first Stay Connect took place in Chicago for a local approach to one-on-one meetings, asking local firms to bring multiple members of their teams while also inviting some out of towners to join the fun. The afternoons featured engaging and honest panels and conversations on everything from the cost of doing business and defining the meaning of experiential travel today to real talk with owners and trends in F&B. We were even lucky to hear from local restaurateur and author @kevinboehmboka. And each day ended with a fabulous dinner—a group outing at @thedalcy and dine arounds at some of Chicago’s best restaurants. It was two days of laughs, connections, and education. At South Tryon and Bland — right across from Mosaic South End — @whitelodging just broke ground on a 14-story, 295-room luxury Autograph Collection hotel (@autographhotels ), Charlotte’s first full-service lifestyle hotel in South End. It will include nearly 10,000 SF of meeting space, a chef-driven ground-floor restaurant, and a signature fifth-floor open-air pool deck with a public steam sauna and hot/cold-plunge pools Developed by @whitelodging built by @brasfieldgorrie , designed by @corganinc and @abeytaarchitecturestudio and interiors by @looneydesign , it’ll be joining @autographhotels under @marriottbonvoy As of now, the target completion date is late 2028. Identity for Cincinnati’s Fidelity Hotel (@fidelityhotelcincinnati) — A refresh of the Fidelity brand along with the identity of the storied Beaux-Arts Gwynne building in downtown Cincinnati. Alongside the Fidelity brand, two supporting identities were created: Cora’s All Day Café (@corascincinnati), a communal café to serve downtown, and Gwynne (@gwynnecincinnati), an American restaurant with European roots. A building can say something about the people it serves. This one tells Texas public educators that their work matters. Set on 44 acres off the shores of Lake Austin, the @holdsworthcenter was designed as a retreat where educators come to learn, reflect, and reconnect with the reasons they teach. The campus moves at the pace of that purpose, with quiet trails, shaded porches, and gathering spaces that open toward the water. Architecture, interiors, and landscape work as one. Wood and limestone carry the warmth of the surrounding terrain indoors, while deep overhangs and daylit rooms keep the outdoors always within reach. The result is a living-learning environment that rewards stillness as much as conversation. This is a place shaped around renewal. Spaces flex between focused study and shared dialogue, giving school leaders room to grow the skills their communities depend on.
