Book recs based on your favorite BG3 character! I love this game & when I saw this trend on Tik Tok a few months ago, I knew I eventually had to do my own version of it! 🩸

Here are some recs and while they won’t be exactly like the characters, it was fun trying to spot the similarities! 🌙

I’ll eventually do part 2 and include the rest of the companions and some other favorite characters! 🦑

If you have played the game…who is your favorite companion?

Today’s post was inspired by a comment by husband made while walking past my bookshelf.

“There are a lot of naked people on your shelf huh.” 💀

So anyway, here are some lovely Johanna Lindsey covers with men that may or may not be…(they totally are).

Clecanian lovers! Who is your favorite? I have a soft spot for Theo and Fejo…. But also Sikthand is up there as well! 👀

🛸🛸🛸🛸🛸

If you haven’t read this series, I definitely recommend giving it a try! Human women end up on an alien planet where the men are required to attend husbandry school. I’ve talked about this series a lot on my page but for good reason, it stays unmatched as my favorite alien romance series ever!

Happy release day to @authorlexynight!

A perfect vampire standalone to start the spooky season off right! 🩸

For centuries, the treaty between the living and the dead has hinged on a singular, brutal law: a human queen must always sit atop the throne by the Vampyr King’s side. King Vastion has outlived six such queens, his reign a weary cycle of grief and duty.

As the latest crown falls, the territories of Devana prepare for the next Season, each paying tribute in a ceremony called the Harvest. Four human females will be considered for the throne, but only one will be chosen. The fringe territory of Leto has watched Seasons come and go from afar—until now. Esiree’s family is intent on her claiming the throne as part of a plot to bring the Vampyr to their knees.

But as the foundations of the monarchy begin to crack, a darker hunger stirs. The Forlorn—monstrous remnants of the Blood Reign—are threatening to destroy humans and Vampyr alike.

Forced to live in the Vampyr city, isolated from humans, will Esiree uncover truths she’s never imagined, or will her hate for their kind grow with each passing day? The balance between monsters and mortals rests in their joined hands. 🩸

✨ If you’re new here, Radiance is one of my favorite books ever. It’s one of those books that I’ve read over and over again and will always recommend. ✨

So, of course, I had to grab the @midnight.whispers.box edition of it and I’m obsessed! 🌙

Recent book mail! 📚

🗡️ I found Fantasy Lover and Kiss of Midnight at the thrift for $1!

🪡 The Washwoman at the Rivers End was easily one of my favorite books of the year, so I knew I had to grab a physical copy!

🌙 My Midnight Whispers set of Radiance and Eidolon came in and I’m OBSESSED.

🐺 Finally, Nobody’s Hero is a book that I randomly found on pango that caught my attention. It’s a post apocalyptic, shifter book….it sounds wild and interesting and absolutely right up my alley. 😇

One of my favorite tropes is when the main characters cannot touch for some reason… I think it makes for some of the best tension! ✨

If you have any recommendations with a similar trope, please let me know! 🌙

When I’m in a slump, I always go back and reread a favorite to help pull me out of it! There are even a few books that I reread once a year because I love them so much.

Do you have a book that you read once a year? 🧐
