Garden Border ~ one of three designs from the new ‘Al Fresco’ embroidered cafe collection. Launching on 1st September - this a Tuesday!

Lora took inspiration directly from plants growing in her own garden, including Ammi Majus, Cosmos and Wild Ferns. A perfect balance of delicate leaves and flowers. Embellished with a mix of ribbons, braids and free motion machine embroidery. Bringing the garden right up to the window. These curtains will give your window some interest all year round. Whilst still letting the light in and maintaining privacy.

We’ve had a bit of a refresh in the gallery … in part thanks to our beautiful exhibition of work, Midsummer, by @loraavedian

I finally got to send out my newsletter this morning 💌 after what felt like a very long Easter holiday. I when i sat down to write it i realised that i have been working really hard the last month on lots of different projects, but can’t tell you about a lot of it yet. 🙃 So this month’s Spring Studio News was mainly about the lovely pictures @elenabazu took of me in my studio and an update on workshops with a special discount - if you subscribe to my newsletter and you didn’t receive it this morning please check your spam!

Next months will have more updates on what i have been working on, a lovely collaboration and more! Now i’m back in the studio, i’m going to get my head down for a couple of deadlines this week 🪡 wish me luck! 🍀

As i start a new big quilt commission, i’m looking back at this quilt that i made for @felt.collections
I loved making this and one other one, each part reflects a trip i took to see one of my oldest friends in Nice, France. The colours of the city, the gates and buildings, the flower market, and the Picasso museum!

Filled with 100% wool, to give it a nice bounce, made from 100% linen outer and vintage cotton sheet backing.

It was a Harvest Moon last night - this Neil Young song always reminds me of @poppyspapercuts ♥️

Here are two of the 20x20cm framed canvas’s still available from the show that just came down from my exhibition at @once_at_134 featuring one silk poppy, and lots of lovely end of summer sunflowers 🌻

We have LOVED having this collection of work in the gallery over the summer months. Midsummer by @loraavedian - you have been a total joy! Thank you.

Last days to enjoy these beauties in the Gallery, the exhibition comes down next week to make way for our Autumn season. A few pieces of the collection are still available featuring flora of Echinacea, Heleniums and the sublime Nasturtiums.
