Little snippets of @loraavedian ‘s beautiful, whimsical floral textile universe ❤️ We sat down a couple weeks ago to chat on all subjects from pricing and financial structures to creativity and motherhood. So we had a very orderly queue of makers outside the door at 9:50am yesterday at The Textile Reuse Hub ♻️ all ready to find sustainable materials.

💫 Star of the week (second pic in) goes to @caitlinwynphil who had travelled from Wales, yes Wales, to be there

It was so busy there was no chance to speak properly to lots of the morning people, but great to see you there @lucillejunkere @upholsterama @art_star_london @she_makesthings @jan.ne.ke @yukikomakes @kai.pd and more.

In the afternoon it was lovely to see @nicola_jreid and @adrianwastudio @mizzlecopseofficial - my favourite part of these days is when that first rush is over and makers have the space to speak to each other and talk about materials and designing out waste.

What was also great to see were local residents coming in for the first time too!

SO haven’t fixed next date yet but Watch This Space - we might open up a bit more regularly at the Wick now the Farm is closed but just working it out.
