✨ Exciting News ✨

I am absolutely thrilled to announce that Beets by Kim has been officially selected for the next Gourmand World Cookbook Awards! 🥂✨

This year, my book has been nominated in two incredible categories:
🏝️ Best Caribbean Cookbook
📖 Best Book on a Single Subject

What an accomplishment and honor it is to be recognized on a global stage. This nomination is a tremendous honor, placing Beets by Kim among the Best Cookbooks in the World. The recognition highlights not only the recipes but also the cultural heritage, storytelling, and traditions that inspired this work. This journey has been filled with hard work, dedication, deep love for beetroot and a passion for celebrating both Trinidadian and Caribbean flavors and traditions. I am so grateful to see it resonating beyond our shores.

I am deeply grateful to the Gourmand Awards for this acknowledgment and to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. Your encouragement has fueled this dream, and this recognition belongs to all of us who believe in the power of food to tell stories, connect cultures, and inspire joy.

I am thrilled to share this nomination with my team who brought my Beets by Kim dream to life with their incredible skill and talent.

From the first time I saw you instantly life became worth more to me than it ever did. One year later as I look back and see how you have grown and the lessons you have learned I am still humbled by the lessons you continue to teach me. #grateful #kartersdad #sonofalord by @lordthion
