Supporting pride LGBT community. Mauro made this classical contemporary hand sculpted pure white marble sculpture of Batman & Superman flirting lounging in a chase lounge with his hand extended like the famous hand of God Sistine Michelangelo fresco at the Vatican. He believes in equal rights and bottom line love is love❤️#pridemonth#lgbt#gayrights#samesexmarriage#equality#loveislove#whitemarble#handcarved#italian#artist#contemporaryartist#scultore#artistsoninstagram#painter#art#modern#art#visonary #romanempire by @lore4art

“There is Something About Mary” by @mauroperucchetti med: chainmail and mixed media life-size. THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT MARY

In this artwork I am exploring fate and the ethereal yet powerful and mystical figures associated with it as we know them.
I find all religions to be guidelines with a similar message: BEHAVE!
Is the chainmail there to protect or to restrain?
In THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT MARY I see a holy figure constrained by the ideology of people and the manmade rules appointed to it by their chosen religious screenplay.
After all Religions are manmade and this is what I am suspicious of. #sculptor #mauroperucchetti #religionismanmade #artbasel #artoftheday by @lore4art
