Design isn’t a vibe. It’s a voice.

Stick around if you’re a designer, a brand owner, or just design-curious.

being a designer in 2026 is weird

i spent years learning how to make things how to use the tools, how to train my eye, how to turn an idea in my head into something other people can actually see and suddenly, the tools can make things too really fast, sometimes really well

you just gotta prove somehow that what you bring to the table is more than the part a machine can now do in seconds

because making something was never the hardest part. knowing what to make was, knowing when something feels off, knowing what to keep what to kill, what to push further, having taste, context, references! an actual opinion, changing your mind seventeen times because something is technically right but still doesn’t feel right.

this didn’t come from one prompt. it came from an idea, references, attempts i hated, tiny changes, more attempts, text layout, coloring, editing, easter eggs, and me being annoyingly specific until it became something i actually like

maybe that’s what being a designer looks like right now

i don’t know exactly where ai leaves us. i don’t think any of us do but for now, some assembly required by @loremsyndrome

Timeline, cuts, pacing, decisions. This is the part I looooove the most.
Shaping the message before anyone sees it.

#pantone announced #clouddancer as the color of the Year 2026.
I love seeing how everyone is interpreting it in their own visual language.
Trends aren’t good or bad, some simply become exercises.
And Cloud Dancer did exactly that: one color, many voices, different minds finding their angle.

A trend becomes meaningful when you add thinking to it. Find your own syndrome. by @loremsyndrome

Banksy isn’t just an artist, he’s our mirror.
He puts the system’s ugliness right there, where it hurts, and everyone can see.

No galleries, no vip passes, no fancy marketing and no sugarcoating. Love him or hate him, he makes you stop, look, and think.
And that’s what real art is supposed to do.

Came for inspiration? Stay for the revolt. by @loremsyndrome

Creative block isn’t emptiness.
It’s overload.
Too many tabs open. Too many swipes. Too much noise.
The cure? Silence. Space. A little sunlight on your skin.
Step back. Reset. Then come back to the work. by @loremsyndrome

Everyone’s worried AI will replace them.
Truth is, AI replaces execution. Not thinking.

If you don’t have a concept-first mindset, you’re already outdated. by @loremsyndrome

Sometimes, the hardest thing isn’t saying yes. It’s saying no. But the moment you choose your seat with intention, you set your value.

This post is a reminder: respect your work, protect your energy, and remember that where you sit shapes how you grow. by @loremsyndrome

I learned the hard way:
Pretty fades.
Trends die.
Clients forget your name.

Unless your design is built on something bigger.

The sooner you start designing with intent, the sooner you stop competing with thousands… and start standing alone.

Read this again the next time you feel tempted to just “make it look nice.” by @loremsyndrome

Pretty designs are everywhere. Concepts aren’t!
Without one, you’re just another pretty thing in the pile of content.
