From coaching Sadie in basketball, Luka in tee ball to the incredible collegiate basketball athletes that come through your program… I’ve loved watching you coach kiddos up in the way they should live and in the fundamentals of solid basketball. 12 hours of Horseshoe Hell 2026! Camp War Eagle 20 Year Reunion!! Y’all, this place, these people, the experience that I get to share with my kiddos and family is just unbelievable. I worked at camp from the year it opened in 2006-2011! Those years were some of the most formidable, memory filled times of my life. Getting to share it with the people I love and seeing all the friends from that time in my life have been so sweet. All of us together with our families made for a fun, silly, sweet reunion that we will never forget! Had so much fun hiking at biking at Coler trails with the kiddos!! We hiked up The Rise (a GIANT staircase up the mountain) 3 times, coffee and smoothies at Airship, hunting for crawdads and creekin’, mountain biking trails, swings, barns, what an incredible Saturday morning, just 10 min from our house! 🫶🏼✨ I love spending quality time in the outdoors with these incredible kids! taken in Coler Mtb Preserve by @lorijrooney

Excited to start the school year soon! ✨ Luka at Life Way Christian for PreK 4 and Sadie at Centerton Gamble for 4th grade! Me at Bentonville West for my 16th year and Bryan at Grimsley for his 16th year! Can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for us this year! by @lorijrooney

While Sadie is away with her cousins at Church Camp, I have this rare son/mommy day with Luka. We made it a “Yes day”! We had our devotions this morning and prayed for our day and then I let Luka make a list of all the things he wanted to do today! We started by making oatmeal, going to feed the geese a few little pieces of bread (that was on his June bucket list!), we went to sonic and got cherry limeades, we ran to Walmart to get stuff to make rice crispy treats, we played Lincoln logs and puzzles, then we came to the pool! Now VBS tonight and spending the night with grandma. I love summer so much! ☀️🤍 I never want to forget these days! taken in Bentonville, Arkansas by @lorijrooney

Since we already on Cantrell, we couldn’t pass up an opportunity to hike Pinnacle! The kids saw it when we were crossing the bridge and I asked if they wanted to hike to the top… it was a resounding YES! Even after all of our running and activities this weekend, they made it all the way to the top without taking any breaks! They are such little adventure buddies and I love them so much! 🥾⛰️ Of course we stopped at the visitors center for some honey lavender Loblolly ice cream! 💜 taken in Pinnacle Mountain West Summit Trail by @lorijrooney

We finally got to meet sweet Conley Rae today and she is absolute perfection! I may or may not have burst into tears when I saw her. 🥹 I am so happy and proud for Claire and Zakk. My bestie gave us a new little bestie! What an amazing day!! Started the morning with Toad Suck races! I ran the 10k and Sadie and Luka walked with Nana, Aunt Shelia and Aunt Annie in the 5k! We did great things! Then we went back to Nana’s to celebrate her birthday! Happy Birthday, Sherry! You’re a wonderful mother-in-law! Then we went out and enjoyed the booths and rides at Toad Suck Daze! Gold Rush Fun Run 2026! Sadie, Luka, and I ran the fun run this evening and had SO much fun! We’re warming up for our 5k and 10k’s tomorrow! 😆 It was also 1st Friday in Bentonville and we walked around and saw all the booths, it was the perfect evening! Sadie got to run with Lola who pushed her and Luka and I ran together and he didn’t have to walk the entire way! These kids are pretty incredible! 🤍✨ taken in Bentonville, Arkansas by @lorijrooney
