Arkansas knows how to do two things really well: epic climbing and great beer. 🧗🍺

As we showcased some of the best of natural Arkansas to folks from across the country, we also got to share one of the best Arkansas brews to go with it — Lost Forty Brewing.

After a full day of climbing… there’s nothing like kicking back in the pines with good people, a plate of ribs and beans, live music and ice-cold Lost Forty. 🤘

Huge thanks to Lost Forty for supporting King of the Crag and helping us give visitors a true taste of Arkansas!

"King of the Crag" was a success! I always love going out to Jamestown Crag to take photos of the climbers while they compete for their various awards. It's such a fun way to give back to the climbers and to help promote Jamestown Crag. This location is my home hiking spot, and I'm honored to be a part of its preservation.

P.S. I want to be a climber one day.

First things first ... with the paper thin amount of skin left on my hands from 24HHH, your boy has been busy training for and participating in #KingOfTheCrag at the newly renovated @jamestowncrag

This trip was bittersweet because it will be the last time Brandon and I will be climbing together until Spring 2026. 🥲

It means the world to me that we got to partner up for the first time AND both podium in a way we are proud of!!

Brandon not only sent his first 11 (Psycho 11a) but proceeded to redpoint and onsight two more 11s ... so he basically had his best day of hard climbing ever during the comp securing him 3rd place in the Advanced Division!

I was able to secure Mike Tyson, First Rodeo, and Luk Skywalker sub three hours and unfortunately couldn't pull the finish on my project, Delusions of Grandeur. So close yet so far, but it was still enough to lock me in at 2nd place in the Rock God Division, a podium I have dreamt of for years!!

But I tell you, if you're going to lose a climbing comp, I recommend losing to @nickmesker . Not only does Nick embody what it means to be a strong climber but he does it in a way that removes ego and builds others up. A climber truly deserving of the title King of the Crag!

Win or lose, it doesn't really matter.

King of the Crag is about coming together with our incredible extended climbing family to enjoy beautiful fall weather and camaraderie that celebrates living the life we love on our terms.

All in all, a major win and a weekend I'm sure I will look back on fondly for years to come.

GRATEFUL! Carpe Diem!

I had a great end to my track season with an 8th place finish in the Heptathlon! It was my first Heptathlon and I finished first in the high jump and PRed in long jump and the 200m dash as well! I can’t wait for next year!

I brought an older little pocket cam to make a short "home movie" of everyone having a great time at KOTC this last weekend at Jamestown Crag :) it was so fun to just have this little camera handy to catch quick moments.
Here's some early 2000s nostalgia
