A quick update for my photography clients and friends 📷

Due to a very limited schedule this year, I won’t be taking portrait bookings for the 2026 season. I will only be booking a small number of short weddings and elopements. I'm sorry to everyone who had hoped to work with me on graduation sessions and family portraits!

If anything changes and I’m able to open portrait sessions later in the year, I’ll be sure to update everyone. Thank you so much for your continued support — it truly means a lot!

Hey it’s Lori, hello from Newfoundland!

I’m a wedding photographer turned landscape and portrait artist, it’s hard to believe I’ve been shooting for 23 years 😮.

I started in Calgary, relocated my business to St.John’s, then Colorado, and now rural Newfoundland (where I’m from).

💝Surprises that photography has given me🫨

✈️ trips across Canada and exotic locations like Mexico, Cuba, Jamaica, the DR…not to mention to so many unique, sweet spots throughout Newfoundland
🚀 my own business in 2007 that took off so fast I was spinning
😵‍💫 a dizzying amount of work and travel (= work ethic, can we talk about 100 hour work weeks?!)
👰🏽🤵🏽meeting some of the nicest, coolest people imaginable
😎 ability to think on my feet and stay calm! Even when detained by Mexican police 👮‍♂️

As they say ‘preparation time is never wasted time’, so after about 600 weddings and decades of practice I can say I definitely feel prepared!

New prints + the 2026 calendar have officially landed at Boulder Creek Cafe & Market in Eastport in time for Christmas! 🎄 Limited quantities of both.

Calendars are $25, prints are $20. A small supply of postcards are available as well for $3 each.

The cafe is open 6 days a week, 9am-7pm (closed on Wednesday). by @lorimoss.ca

🔔Headed to the Eastport Peninsula this weekend for the Damnable Trail Festival? Swing by the Boulder Creek Market NL (64 Main Street, Eastport) while you’re around. It’s a cozy little boutique packed with local artisanal goodies—including mine. Perfect spot to browse while waiting on your meal, or to pick up something special after a hike. Hike, eat, shop, can’t beat that. They're open Fri-Sun this weekend 9am-9pm.
