Happy birthday Lorney, I love you 🫶✨

I’ve always battled with loving myself. 30 cracked me open to parts of myself that have been hidden and buried for a long time. It wasn’t pretty.

It was beautifully painful waking up to these parts of me. Through the process I realized that we’re never done, and we’ve already started. I was stuck in this loop for so long of wanting to be this “finished” version of myself that I thought I hadn’t started.

The start was my first breath on this planet, and I’m not done until I take my last. Everything along the way is the journey, and it’s unfolding exactly how it’s supposed to.

To have this level of awareness, and be able to sit back and receive everything that life puts in front of me is truly the greatest gift I’ve ever given myself.

I am awake, and will continue to challenge myself to keep waking up to parts of me.

This birthday I want to shout out me. And thank myself for pushing through, and getting here. The life that I am living now is one that I dreamed of years ago.

There were times when that light got dim, and I thought I’d never make it. But as long as you never loose sight of where you’re going, you’ll get there one way or another. And once you’re there, you recalibrate and come up with another vision, or dream of who you could become.

The direction matters so much more than the time it takes.

Never stop chasing the best version of yourself. Always higher.

Keep dreaming. You’ll get there one day. This world has your back way more than you could ever imagine.
