Some bands burn brightly and disappear. Others take the long road.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This week I’d like to highlight three works that are relatively new, I appreciate our focus together has been in the warm glow of nostalgia and I feel like these three recommendations all have a reassuring tinge of the past about them, especially this, as it’s a cover of one of my favourite bands of all time, @tearsforfearsmusic whom I’ve been lucky enough to interview twice. @losersuk started off as my production moniker but when I started working with the incandescently brilliant Tom Bellamy, @thecoopertempleclause multi instrumentalist - it was his virtuoso musicianship and love of live performance which gave us the impetus to evolve into a live band. Tom brought another incredibly talented musician, singer, guitar player @paulmullen from @yourcodenameismilo and The Automatic and gave me the chance to work with two of the best musicians I’ve ever interacted with. I have to pinch myself with how lucky I was to have made four albums with these guys. Hope you like our cover. I only ever have two aims with covers. 1. Keep the song’s integrity and 2. Give it new context. Job done here, I feel and hope you do too. Happy Monday! #tearsforfears #cover #musiccover #electronicmusic #shout by @losersuk
