10 years ago I came to El Chalten for the first time with my family and since then I’ve dreamt of coming back to play and climb in the massif. Finally, @genbernatchez and I came down for an unforgettable 3 weeks, leaving feeling like I’ve barely scratched the surface.

It’s been a while! LOTS has happened in the last months so here’s what’s been poppin: I got married! ❤️😁@genbernatchez and I have been spending most of our time as newlyweds around Montreal doing plenty of climbing and shenanigans with our new puppers (!!!!) Plus sprinkling in as much time to go chase down my friends around the world and fit in spontaneous climbing trips. My life is also pretty much all in French now which is very groovy! Time to cozy up for winter and hopefully have a good ice climbing season🍁 by @lost_lukas

After close to 5 years living in the Sierra, it’s finally time to say goodbye. As much as I love this place, it’s been the people that have really defined my time here. I know these connections are for life but it’s hard not to already feel nostalgic. After 7 years of living in a tent or car, I’ll be moving into an apartment for the first time in my life with @genbernatchez in Montreal to start a new life and truly could not be more excited. I’m feeling a whole range of emotions but most of all I feel immense gratitude to everyone who made my time here as special as it has been. Thank you thank you thank you but now it’s time to eat poutine every day 😁 taken in Sierra Mountains by @lost_lukas

Some photos from a couple recent awesome days out climbing in the high Sierra, both in places I hadn’t been to before. This place never ceases to amaze, including getting to witness thousands of sheep doing their thing as @blorph and I were approaching our climb. In one day I saw sheep, jackrabbits, cows, coyotes, deer, a mule and a bear. Pretty special!😁⛰ taken in Hoover Wilderness by @lost_lukas
