Kith: The Footwear Archive. This was a moment. An epic collection and archive of sneakers from the mind of @ronniefieg and his @kith crew, working with partners across @newbalance, @asics, @nike and @adidas to name but a few. Celebrated with the culmination of a book shot by @arab_lincoln, alongside a bunch of awesome panels over 4 days. Yeah, this was a moment. Helped scoring the 15th anniversary re-release of the GL3 Salmon Toes!

Since we’re on the @offspringhq vibe, super happy to have grabbed the @nike Air Max SNDR x Offspring “Built by the Community”. They were developed to celebrate community creativity and culture, with it bent co-created with input from members of the Offspring community.

The sneakers features unique details like a distinctive red denim upper that reveals hidden patterns when wet, community-inspired accents as well as a custom ring engraved with “For the Community”. The highlight - it was priced at one £60 as a nod to the supporters and culture. Not for nothing, these deserved more flowers!

@offspringhq asked a throwback to 2016, and one of the most important memories was a birthday gift from the now wifey - making @nike Air Max 1 Bespokes in the now defunct Nikelab 1948 LDN. This was such an incredible process - from talking about design inspirations, picking colourways and swatches, and then waiting patiently for the kicks to be made. Was so happy how it came out - got to wear these on my wedding day a few years later. My only regret was not making more pairs especially in other locations! Bring it back Nike!

Ended up with quite the haul at @complexcon LV. Starting with @vandythepink x @puma, including the special 1/100 shirt which required pickups from @oksuperday and @momotoysla (tee inside the burger (!) special box (!!) - insane), then the epic @hidden.ny x @asics including the lovely “shadow”/“dusk” pair *for free* that required getting a lucky voucher from two doting “suits” walking around the floor giving away pamphlets to unsuspected visitors. The insanely good @bbcicecream board flips (THANKS @sneakerdenn!! All you) to the amazing @atmos 95s. Lucked in for the @futuralaboratories @nikesb but massively lucked out on the @zellerfeld N95000 (tried 14 times - but the f%#*ing scalpers stole the show). Got a customized footie tee from @kidsofimmigrants - love. Highlights of the event included (1) visiting @laams.nyc and finally meeting @scottyselv to see their epic AF1s and picking up a tee, and “winning” the @nike crossbar challenge (THERE IS A VIDEO!) resulting in a cool footy jersey and a free pair of kicks (solar red AM95s). Managed to also score the shock drop @nigelsylvester “Brick by Bricks” AJ4s after winning SOTY - FINALLY!Thanks to many I met and hung out - it’s been a trip! by @lostdocx

“Every Summer Tells a Story”
…
Saw a competition post from @maniere_usa that I thought, sure, I’ll give it a crack. Resulted in me spending nearly two hours looking through photos, videos and memories of one of the most memorable experiences that didn’t just shape a summer but my whole life. And don’t care about the outcome of the competition, I’m so glad I did this.

Literally 9 years to this day (June 19th 2016), I was in my parent’s country of Bangladesh for only the second time of my life. This time, as a grown man, I got to see a country full of people, that despite their hardships and lack of literally anything, preserved through life and made most of what they had. They celebrated their heritage in different ways, and were incredibly appreciative, regardless. I was equal moments in despair as well as happiness for them. Made me unbelievably grateful for what I had, the bountiful resources and opportunities. Made me promise myself that whatever happens, this will always be my heritage. And for that, I’ll always be grateful. P.S. the photo of the young lady is a distant cousin who even though impoverished, welcomed me with a smile. Suffice it to say, our families all came together to try help where we can. Today was a good reminder that I need to do more for those back in Bangladesh.

“Love Always and Forever”…

This is a really special one. Was unbelievably stoked when @unheardofbrand offered up the chance to grab this pair that was sold as part of a pretty epic in-store activation.
The last hurrah to the “Grandma’s Couch” series, the @adidas x @unheardofbrand Rivalry Low “Mother’s Day”. Lovely pink hue, featuring floral patterns inspired by @philip_lipschutz Grandma Naomi’s beloved couch, purple accents showcasing her strength, and personal touches like her handwriting and a watercolor painting by Phil’s grandfather. The details on the shoes are second to none, and we haven’t even touched on the packaging - an incredibly sturdy wooden box, with the trademark accessories @unheardofbrand have become known for.
There is story telling and then there is @unheardofbrand’s story telling. Pretty bloody impressive. Can’t wait to see what else the crazy minds of Phil and team are cooking up…(we may or may not have had a sneak peak already if you’re attentive!)
Now on the hunt for the elusive green pair!!

Banana split 🍌🍓🍨

Chuffed to have picked up from the recent @complex popup in NYC, these are the @vandythepink x @atmos x @asics GEL-Nimbus 10.1 (upper)/GEL-Kayano 14 (sole) “Banana” sneaker. Part of the “Banana Split” pack, inspired the dessert, featuring a soft vanilla mesh base complemented by banana yellow overlays and chocolate brown accents. Nice touch of red cherry-inspired details and a floral motif on the heel no less.

What a pair! Now need to complete the pack with the strawberry pair!
