✨Sharing some thoughts: Next year will mark 6 years of freelance designing for independent brands 🥳. It’s proof that believing in your abilities makes great things happen, having a vision for the future makes things happen IRL. 💪🏼

✨I left my last job feeling broken, after experiencing trauma, I decided that was enough, I couldn’t endure it anymore.

✨I left my home in London because I needed change & I found work teaching fashion design in Cambodia.

✨Living in Cambodia for a year gave me the space I needed to put myself back together. I knew I wanted to rebuild better, I wanted to keep using my skills I a more fulfilling way.

✨One day I say down on my computer and for the first time put together a portfolio that was just for me, that I loved, & others loved it too…my business was born.

✨I started posting regularly & putting myself out there as a service provider, I made a website, & have never looked back. The business has been growing ever since!!

✨ I understand the fashion industry very well, & I do everything I can to make brands journeys as smooth as possible, because I believe in better!

✨If I can share one tip…Don’t forget to be kind to yourself while you pursue your goals, check in with yourself & don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it!

⭐️Sketching your ideas is hard, I hear this all the time, new clients feeling embarrassed about sharing their own ideas & sketches.

⭐️It is a big step sharing your idea, but please never be ashamed or afraid of putting your pencil to paper and getting your ideas out of your head. Just do it!

⭐️Don’t worry how good or bad your scribbles are because when you are ready an experienced designer, like myself, can help you get them up to scratch. You’ll be surprised how useful your sketches can be.

⭐️I have spent years and years (so many years) practising & learning the craft of technical drawings, understanding the ins and outs of design. This all takes time that you don’t have when starting out.

⭐️ That is exactly why my services exist! Let me help you get your ideas organised and ready for making a reality!

✨💖Once freed from our fears, we are able to live more!Once freed from the burden of reassurance our inner artist feels safer, more vocal. This new positivity and self assurance is the beginning of building trust with yourself! 🙌✨

✨I’ve been on this path myself for a couple of years & can say with confidence that when you welcome the concept, little by little, day by day, the trust grows & you become able to take steps towards your creative vision!!! 🤗

Spilling the tea, part two 🫖 Later than planned but, a huge part of the story!!! Unforgettable journeys of discovery 💕 Teaching, but mostly learning so much myself 🙌

✨I think the moral of this part of the story is, if you’re willing to take some risks, you might just get what you hope for. But you better be willing to take the actions required!! ☺️

🍒✨Been on an unintentional posting break, probably because I was nervous about being vulnerable on the internet. 🫣🥲 But here goes…it’s been a journey, stretching way beyond these posts.

But this is where things started shifting &I leaned into my interests.

It’s been a bumpy ride, but I probably wouldn’t change it, experiences make you the person you are!

Through all the tests the mission was born. It’s the grounding for my true purpose, so pretty important to share!!
