LOL! I’m not complaining, this is something I really want to do. But boy, it’s testing my patience 😅

This year fully launching is what I’ve prioritised, we’ve pushed back holiday plans to make sure it happens! So there’s no backing out!!

Persevering & hoping the work happening pre-launch will help to make a stronger product in the long run!

😅I’ve not posted much recently, because I am deep in trying to get things DONE! I feel so close now…but still a few hurdles left to jump.

The theme remains, slower progress than I hoped, but I want everything to be right! I want to put in the effort now to hopefully reap the rewards later.

Anyone who thinks making clothes is easy, I would like to correct this misconception! It’s not the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but it certainly requires the most patience!

Luckily I do have some amazing people working with me BTS to make sure I deliver a product that people will love & it will all be worth it!!

The sustainable community, I truly love you 💖You’ve supported me through so many changes in my life, & I’m so grateful. I thought it was time to share some of my thoughts on the matter.

It’s not always easy speaking about values in fashion or staying positive in an industry that can feel so fast and disconnected, but it’s time to lean in again.

My goal moving forward is to talk about the deeper side of fashion, the values behind what we wear, & why conscious choices matter. BUT as always to enjoy it!! Because JOY is sustainable!!!

I took a little risk & bought some fabrics to turn into bags 🥹✨
After hours of scouring the internet, I finally found the fabrics of DREAMS!!! I already know they’re going to make the cutest tote bags.

The whole vibe with NLD is creating things you can use every day… but making them feel special, fun, and like your favourite thing to reach for 💖🌼

I honestly barely want to cut into these fabrics because they’re SO beautiful 😭 but I know it’ll be worth it once the samples come to life!!

I really hope you love them as much as I do ☀️
Which fabric are you vibing with most? I genuinely can’t choose!!

💁‍♀️I’m just a girl, laying on my patterns asking them to become my dream clothes & dream business!

✨It all starts here. With a paper pattern. Well that’s a lie, it starts with an idea, a sketch, a tech pack, a first toile, refinement, then a second pattern. Then finally a third pattern, which is where I am now!

✨It’s with my manufacturer in London, getting made into two more size samples, to make sure all is really for production.

But this was me well over a year ago (almost two) cutting out my first patterns! This really is slow fashion 😂

✨I picked this song some what ironically because being a fashion designer is so much more involved that people envision. That’s why I’m testing the samples on a bigger and smaller size. I promise I am doing all I can to make sure the dungarees gain your trust & will be worth your investment!

Hoping to have the samples back by the end of the week.
