Roots, Rocks & Ridges XC Recap

There’s something special about traditional cross-country racing. Long miles, tough climbs, fast singletrack, and plenty of roots and rocks along the way.

XC riding was a big part of what first put bikes on the mountain at HoliMont, and the @wnymba trail network helped provide the foundation and momentum for us to keep building and expand into the Bike Park we have today. It was great to celebrate those roots with another awesome RRR XC race!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to race, volunteer, cheer, and help make the day happen. Events like this are all about the riding community, and we’re grateful to have such a great one here at HoliMont.

🏆 Congratulations to all of our winners and everyone who crossed the finish line!

🏁 Roots, Rocks & Ridges DH Recap! 🤘

What a way to wrap up 2026 downhill racing! Horsehead delivered everything we love about racing at HoliMont—roots, speed, airtime, big smiles, and an awesome crew of riders pushing themselves all the way to the finish.

A huge congratulations to every rider who dropped in, and thank you to the families, spectators, and crew who made the day such a great one. There’s nothing better than seeing riders of all ages sharing the mountain, cheering each other on, and having a whole lot of fun along the way.

The Bike Park is for ALL. 🤘♿️🚵

Another big step forward for adaptive riding at HoliMont! The Phoenix Adaptive crew joined us to complete an initial audit of our new Bowhead adaptive bikes, get some time behind the controls, and begin refining lesson plans for future athletes.

There’s still work to do, but we’re moving quickly. This Friday, our Lift Operations team will begin evaluating loading and unloading procedures, while Phoenix continues developing the on-mountain experience. Our goal is to get our first athletes on bikes before the end of the Bike Park season.

This is what Keep Building is all about—not just adding trails and features, but creating more opportunities for more people to experience the freedom, independence, and fun of being on the mountain.

Huge thanks to the Phoenix Adaptive crew, our team, and the HoliMont membership whose generosity helped make these Bowhead bikes possible.

More access. More independence. More people on bikes. The mountain is for everyone. 💪

A pretty special delivery just landed at HoliMont. Our fleet of Bowhead adaptive mountain bikes has arrived!

Made possible through the incredible generosity of our membership during last season’s Men’s Day, these bikes represent another big step toward making the HoliMont Bike Park a place where everyone can experience the freedom of riding our mountain.

Next up: training, learning, testing, and working alongside our Phoenix Adaptive crew to prepare for the launch of adaptive mountain biking at HoliMont.
