Back 40 Bike Park, Sunday 10-25-26 noon to 5 shuttle laps. Reserve your spot on the trailer. DM me for address if you don’t know. Excavator is back on the hill and Crazy Train is growing some more flow and features after the 180 berm. Anyone have time to leaf blow on Saturday? Have 2 hand held and hopefully the backpack still works.

Back 40 Bike Park 101726 shuttle laps were great. Enough riders showed up to need the trailer again and Alex made his first visit. The lower powerline section of “Everlong” the new blue enduro trail was opened for first laps. A couple small saplings needed removed for better flow. By lap 4 or 5 the trail was starting to carry good speed. Just under 1 mile long and 480 vertical feet drop and 98% downhill. A good combination of off chamber tech, high speed open section and natural terrain for tons of fun. A little more work needed so we can jump into it at the powerlines from Crazy Train. The only video I got of the day was Alivia crushing the waterfall section of Kashmir.

Back 40 Bike Park is 95% leaf blown above the power lines. Hill is moist and dirt should be perfect for Saturday. From power lines down, new blue enduro trail will be open along with a black short cut. Will leaf blow the bottom in the morning and everything should be dialed. Days are numbered, get your laps in.

Back 40 Bike Park, Saturday 10-10-26 shuttle day 11 to 4. DM to save a spot on the shuttle trailer. Come throw some whips like Jackson. Hill is dry and fast and leaves are starting to fall.

Killington Bike Park, Monday after Lake Placid World Cup DH race. It was chilly and windy day, but got laps from all 3 lifts. Bikes and bodies took quite some time to warm up, but once they did, too much fun was had and stoke was high. Just need to find someone to take some quality video since I’m horrible at it on the phone. Alivia was not happy with any whips and Brad and I are confused why.

Roots, Rocks & Ridges XC Recap

There’s something special about traditional cross-country racing. Long miles, tough climbs, fast singletrack, and plenty of roots and rocks along the way.

XC riding was a big part of what first put bikes on the mountain at HoliMont, and the @wnymba trail network helped provide the foundation and momentum for us to keep building and expand into the Bike Park we have today. It was great to celebrate those roots with another awesome RRR XC race!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to race, volunteer, cheer, and help make the day happen. Events like this are all about the riding community, and we’re grateful to have such a great one here at HoliMont.

🏆 Congratulations to all of our winners and everyone who crossed the finish line!

Until next time… keep pedaling. 🤘🌲

🏁 Roots, Rocks & Ridges DH Recap! 🤘

What a way to wrap up 2026 downhill racing! Horsehead delivered everything we love about racing at HoliMont—roots, speed, airtime, big smiles, and an awesome crew of riders pushing themselves all the way to the finish.

A huge congratulations to every rider who dropped in, and thank you to the families, spectators, and crew who made the day such a great one. There’s nothing better than seeing riders of all ages sharing the mountain, cheering each other on, and having a whole lot of fun along the way.

Thanks for racing with us and making Roots, Rocks & Ridges one to remember! 🚵‍♂️🍂🏆

UCI World Cup Downhill in Lake Placid, practice day:
Track walk from the top to see all the mud and gnar. The bottom of the course was shut down with all the fresh bike park features not handling the rain very well.
