10 weeks ago, I decided to start training for my first Hyrox. @liamjones10_ took me on as a client, and it’s fair to say he had his work cut out 🫠.

This week, I’ve looked back at how much I’ve changed , and honestly, my mind is blown. 🤯🤯

- I can run 8k. Albeit at the pace of a baby penguin, but I can run 8k. When I started, I remember telling Liam I can run for two minutes before I’d gass out.

- I’ve completed a Hyrox sim with @relentlesseventsuk

- My burpee broad jumps are semi decent now, which is not something I ever expected to say out loud! Look out @liamhatchofficial I’m coming for your burpee title king 🫡😂

- I’m training 7-8 times a week and have the best energy I’ve had in years. Yes, I’m training twice a day. No I’m not burning out. 🔥

- We’ve got our hands on Hyrox Glasgow women’s doubles tickets 👌💪 @ange.sharp

Honestly, I can’t believe what can be achieved with professional, experienced coaching in 10 weeks.

Thank you to @liamjones10_ a hundred times over for forcing me (often literally) to push myself to be the best I can be 🫡🫶 by @louiseellul87

The biggest shout out to @alicetobin.hair 🙌

Finding a truly talented hairdresser is rare, but finding a hair magician is a whole different level! 🪄✨

Huge thank you to @alicetobin.hair based in @jc.hairdesign for always knowing exactly what my hair needs.

Why put a Medical Aesthetics clinic in a gym??!! 🤷‍♀️
There is method to my madness, allow me to share…

@bespoke.aestheticslk is located within UFIT gym in Cardiff’s Trident Industrial Estate. 🥊🏃

As a Medical Aesthetic Clinic, our clinic can offer a range of high end treatments which are scientifically backed to give you the best achievable aesthetic outcome. 🙌

So why does exercise come into this? 💁‍♀️

I’ve long held the opinion that looking and feeling your best comes from doing the basics right. Drink water, eat a balanced diet, get enough sleep. But for me- one of the key aspects of health and beauty is EXERCISE

Exercise isn’t glamorous. It isn’t a quick fix. It doesn’t get you results as fast as injectables will… BUT it is empowering. Confidence building. And honestly the best kind of self love you can give. 🙌 my BEST results come from clients who are already doing these things well. Their treatments are gentle supporters and enhancements of their already healthy selves. ❤️🔥

Don’t get me wrong- I don’t have all the answers when it comes to exercising. But I do have the privilege of working alongside some of the best trainers and athletes in Cardiff. 🙌✨

Next time you visit me at my gym based clinic- why not stop for a little training session? 😉
