Broken down simply: the goal is to build a body that lets you keep doing the things you love for longer.

To run without stressing over your knees.
To lift your suitcases without thinking twice.
To hike on holiday.
To play with pets, kids, friends, family.
To feel strong enough to try new things.
To not feel like life is over as you get older.

You don’t have to go crazy or love going to the gym, but finding a little something to do everyday is a gift for future you 🫰🏼

A built upper body is so sexy so let’s keep cooking !!!

Currently very committed to building those shoulder caps - front raises for the front delts + lateral raises for the side delts.

Two exercises back to back:
- 3 rounds
- 8–10 reps each
- if I can: increasing the weight and going to failure on the final set 🙂‍↔️

i’ve noticed people loooove having opinions about women wearing makeup to gym/workout and just generally getting dolled up to train/compete in the fitness space, to which I say:

1. do you wear makeup to work? yeah I thought so… well, same :)
and 2. let people live! hope that helps

One year ago, I uprooted pretty much everything I thought I wanted for myself.

I ditched the fashion industry after years across communications, PR, social media, project & talent management - and went to Bali to get my Pilates certification with @bodyathletica.

And simply put: wtf. The difference a year makes is actually insaaaane.

🩷 250+ classes taught since officially starting last November - shoutout to @studioposes & @andieforte for being the first to take a chance on me, give me 6 slots on the schedule, and send me on my way. I will never forget how nervous I was walking into that first class. And I can’t express how thankful I am for my community of regulars today.

🩷 My very first Pilates + yoga retreat with one of my favourite people, @jennajeandavis. Pinch me that I get to build something like this with someone I respect, admire & love so much. High vibrations all around… and retreat #2 in the pipeline 👀✨ @ellejay.retreats

🩷 A completely different kind of confidence. More mental strength. More trust in myself. This job has taught me that sometimes you have to show up and pour everything you have into a room even when you feel like you have absolutely nothing left to give.

You don’t really understand that until you’re having a shit day and then have to walk into back-to-back classes with 26 people waiting for you, looking at you, hanging onto your every word for their next move.

Very much like my own fitness practice, teaching has taught me the power of showing up sad, stressed, upset, unmotivated, tired… and doing it anyway. And somehow, you always walk out feeling better than when you walked in. Something about endorphins or whatever.. ;)

Tldr: if there’s something you’ve been thinking about changing, consider this your sign that it’s never too late to pivot 🩷
