Very excited to finally announce this amazing opportunity from the Make It Awards by @squarespace !
A few months ago we accepted an incredible grant alongside two other innovative businesses.

Huge thanks to @broadsheet_melb who filmed this feature video as a deeper insight into our business and what goes on behind the scenes ✍️

Special thanks to @yanyancandyng for helping out and making a camio in the video 🖤✨

Lousy Ink

We are thrilled to welcome Lousy Ink to the Melbourne Pen & Stationery Show for the first time.

Proudly made in Melbourne by two artists, Lousy Ink turns waste into inspiration—transforming printer-cartridge ink into vibrant recycled art materials and creative tools. Working with Close the Loop and the Cartridges 4 Planet Ark collection program, Lousy Ink gives unwanted ink a second life.

From highly pigmented, non-toxic CMYKIT colour-mixing kits to recycled-ink Lousy Liners and refillable Scribblers, every product is designed for making more thoughtfully. Come and discover a fresh way to make your mark.

Product photos for the Waste of space exhibition curated by @dodgy.paper and @lousy.ink.

The two invited 30 artists to make a custom batch of Dodgy paper and a custom batch of Lousy Ink. The artists were then tasked with creating original artworks on their sheets, utilising the colours they had formulated.
