It’s taken me a while to find the right words. Things happen. Life gets in the way. But, here goes. I have something very important to share. The biggest and most joyous news I’ve ever had.

It’s a girl.

I’m excited, scared, anxious, but unbelievably happy. I’ve always wanted to be a dad. Now I get the opportunity of a lifetime.

The small amount of people I managed to tell in real life all said the same thing to me. “You’re going to be a great dad.” Which absolutely means everything to me. That’s going to be my main focus and I can’t wait for the challenge. It’s a scary world and I just want her to be safe, happy, and able to achieve every dream she has and not let the world get her down.

Dani and I have both been through a lot and we’re absolutely excited to start this journey together and introduce our newest best friend to the world, Goldie.

Yesterday was a travel day- leaving Texas behind and making our way to Phoenix, Arizona. 🌵🚐

I never thought it would actually happen. I’ve had season tickets for twenty years, never given up, never switched teams. My favorite team. My favorite venue. I’ve always been a New Yorker. When people ask, I proudly tell them.

There is pure joy with this Knicks playoff run. People going crazy in the best ways and sometimes in the worst. To an outside observer it may be hard to understand why people are acting this way.

The last two decades people been taking cheap shots at Knicks fans. Every failed playoff run, botched draft, front office disaster, career ending injury.

I kept all the receipts. Every person I know who has ever talked shit about the Knicks. I see you. I didn’t forget.

NYC is dope, where your from isn’t. Your favorite teams are scattered all over the map. Mine aren’t.

Even this season, same old story. Every team they were facing was the superior team. Until the Knicks beat them. Not only beat them, ran through them. You don’t win 13 playoff games in a row with luck. No credit given. “Oh it’s a weak Eastern Conference, they had an easy path.” And now in the Finals. Facing the best team in the best conference, apparently. Before the series, again, Knicks are given no chance to win. “Spurs are going to sweep you. Enjoy Cancun.” Etc etc etc. Well, here we are. It took 5 games, but the Knicks now have the greatest point deferential in NBA playoff history and also an NBA Championship. Haters still gonna hate. Which means you know nothing about basketball.

All the haters are annoyed the Knicks did it. And even more bothered by the outpouring of jubilation amongst the fanbase. What the fuck did you expect? It’s called revenge.

With that said, respectfully. Fuck Texas. Fuck the Spurs. Fuck the refs. Fuck Luke Kornet and his devout Christian ass. Fuck those nuns. Fuck the Alamo. Fuck Wemby. Fuck Bruce Bowen. Fuck Texas BBQ. Fuck Frost Bank. Fuck cowboy hats. Fuck cowboy boots. Shout out to Whataburger and their spicy ketchup, Dirk and Pantera

Happy Belated Birthday to my wife! I’m only late by 5 days. On this post. Started off the celebration by taking her to see the love of her life @jonnybernthal. We then went to Vegas for Wrestlemania. Had a lot of amazing breakfasts and terrible dinners. I promise next year I won’t get you dinner that comes on a cardboard tray.I love you so much. Check it out! What an absolutely amazing tour. If you told 14 year old me I would be touring with Circle Jerks, Gorilla Biscuits, and Negative Approach I wouldn’t have believed you. I still don’t believe it! This tour was a literal dream come true. Not only did I get to see my favorite bands every night, I got to do it with the best people around. My GB family, thanks for letting The Snorechestra ride again. The whole Circle Jerks and Negative Approach squad, it was an honor and a pleasure to be around such legends and making this shit the best tour ever. Thanks for being dope in every possible way. Don’t know what to say, except for thank you and I love you. Touring with The Hives for these last few months has been absolutely incredible. It’s awesome knowing that when you wake up work will be awesome, you’ll be able to laugh with even more awesome people and you get to watch an incredible show every night. Missing you all already so much. From the bottom of my heart, I love you.
