Someone said it’s spooky season. 🖤

So naturally, I’m bringing you a black wedding dress in the Utah desert.

I LOVE a fall wedding dripping in autumnal color.

But if you’re planning a fall wedding or Utah elopement, consider this your permission slip to make October look however you want it to.

Your wedding florals can be autumnal, or not. Your wedding dress can be white, or black. Your bridal hair and makeup can be soft, dramatic, or somewhere in between. Your wedding cake can be its own little work of art. Your wedding can look exactly like the two of you.

I am so grateful I got to capture Joe and Lenicka’s perfect summer wedding, with their family and friends there to celebrate with them! They have been friends since they were kids, and even though they both went to school and traveled, they kept coming back to each other. Okay but actually: a ski elopement is a very good use of your wedding day.

First things first: pick your mountain and check its rules for professional wedding photo and video. Or shoot me a DM and I can help you find it. Every resort handles it a little differently, and some require advance permission.

Once we know we’re good to go, my vote is a weekday and later in the day. Fewer people = more breathing room for us to safely get those sweeping, wildly-in-love, casually-skiing-in-your-wedding-clothes shots without turning ourselves into an obstacle on the mountain.

Basically, I would like enough room to film you looking like the ice queen you were clearly meant to be.

You do not have to spend your wedding day doing things just because they are traditionally part of a wedding day.

You can ski.
You can wear the dress on the lift.
You can bring a bouquet.
You can make the whole thing feel a little ridiculous and wildly romantic.

The promise of adventure, but make it après-ski.

Cottage Floral Design is becoming Lova Content Creation

And somehow, this name feels a lot more like where I’m actually going.

I’m a wedding content creator specializing in elopements, micro weddings, and intimate celebrations, especially the kind where the day feels less like a production and more like you two having the best day of your lives.

And because a lot of the best days of my life have happened in Sweden, I wanted a little piece of it built into this next chapter.

Lova means “to promise” in Swedish.

For me, that became the promise of adventure. Getting married is the greatest adventure and I love couples who want their day to kick it all off. Maybe yours looks like exchanging vows with your closest family on the Salt Flats, skiing after your intimate ceremony in Park City, wandering downtown SLC, taking over a tiny restaurant in Moab, or doing something completely different that only makes sense for the two of you.

I want you to get to be completely in it while it’s happening.

I’ll document the big feelings, the ridiculous little moments, and all the details you spent months thinking about. Just 24-48 hrs after your adventure, you get to experience it all over again.

The reactions you missed.
The tiny details you forgot.
The way everyone looked at you.
The moments that happened while you were busy living your own.

And because I started as a florist, you’re also going to keep seeing plenty of flowers around here: wedding flower advice, what I’m making for a mountain elopement couple who just want a bouquet, and probably me getting far too excited about a particularly good local peony.

Basically: elopements, micro weddings, wedding content, flowers, and an enthusiastic amount of nerding out about all of it.

Same eye for the details. Same person behind the camera. Much clearer mission.
