Who has body awareness at work anyway?

One year ago, I was staying up late talking with my husband when he asked me the question that would change our lives: “If you could start something of your own, what would it be?”

I told him about an idea I had, and THE VERY NEXT MORNING we started building Marry Pop-Up Wedding Nanny. 😜

Looking back, I can’t believe we’re here. I’m so grateful for my husband’s immediate support. He stayed up with me countless nights, helping put together a plan and website, creating marketing materials, figuring out Canva, and tackling everything else that comes with starting a business.

During this time I saw a quote that said; “I will succeed because I am insane.” This has been my mantra during our first year in business. Failure wasn’t and isn’t an option.

I’m so grateful that so many incredible vendors welcomed us into the wedding industry and that we’ve been able to work with the most amazing brides.

The first year of Marry Pop-Up has been full of highs, lows, and growth.

Here’s to our second year of offering couples an innovative solution to keeping weddings stress-free and wonderful for everyone, especially the littles. 🫶🏻☂️

We can help make “child-free” simple too! We absolutely love when kids can be included to some degree in your wedding. They can add so much excitement and joy (when supervised properly 🫣)

Everyone say hi to Shannon!!

She has officially joined the Merrimac team as my lead associate coordinator for 2027.

What does this mean? Double the fun, double the sass, double the strength 💪. If you have already booked with me for 2027, you can still expect me, Molly 👋, to be your lead coordinator on your wedding day.

For future brides - I (Molly) will still handle all of the planning and back end stuff, but then either me OR Shannon will be your lead lady on your wedding day - and of course we’ll let you know who it is when you book 🥰.

Things I love about Shannon:

1️⃣She is SO good at problem solving. Seriously, whenever I’m stuck on something, she is who I call.

2️⃣This girl can stay hella calm, even in moments when I’m not. She is so good at grounding herself and others.

3️⃣ She has some crazy muscle strength. You should see what she can deadlift 👀

4️⃣ I would trust Shannon with my life. She is an incredible friend, an extremely hard worker, and generally just a joy to be in the presence of.

Shannon has been helping me all summer with all of your amazing weddings, and if there was anyone I would trust wholeheartedly to lead the big day.. it’s her.

Let’s give her some love in the comments!! 👇👇👇

Welcome Shannon!! ✨

The Dunn’s 💍

I am so grateful I got to capture Joe and Lenicka’s perfect summer wedding, with their family and friends there to celebrate with them! They have been friends since they were kids, and even though they both went to school and traveled, they kept coming back to each other. Congratulations, Joe and Lenicka, on finding your forever together!

Queen Anne’s lace. She comes in white, chocolate, and green and has the most beautiful lacy florets. Unfortunately, she is a diva. If she’s not picked at just the perfect stage, she wilts and becomes the saddest looking thing.

This was during the reception flip after pulling all the sad stems out of the ground pieces. Every time I get her, I swear I won’t do it again… but she always pulls me back in. 🫠

Side Note: This is what Taylor Swifts infamous bouquet was made mostly of, and is exactly why it looked the way it did at the end of the night. Haha

A little undone. A lot unforgettable. 🤎

Texture, twists, and a braid that refuses to behave — exactly how we like her.

These are the vibes we are bringing into 2027✨️

I can hardly contain my excitement when working with my couples.

Yet sometimes I have forced myself to stay quiet so that I’m not “too much” for people or come across unprofessional.

Now I’m learning that you need reassurance that you look amazing, I’m so happy to be working with you, and you can feel comfortable and relaxed around me! You are so much better in front of the camera than you think 🫶🏻

If you are a 2027 Texas bride looking for an energetic photographer that is truly happy to be working with you and will help direct you on your day, I would LOVE to chat!

The Vintage Mobile Bar began with a little 1960s Piaggio Ape and a big vision: to create a beverage experience that felt more personal, memorable, and fun than a traditional bar setup.

After lots of creativity, planning, and hard work, our tiny Italian truck became the tap truck you see today—ready to serve custom cocktails, mocktails, soda bars, lemonade, coffee, and more at celebrations across Utah.

We love that it is not just a bar. It is a place for guests to gather, toast, take photos, and enjoy the moment.

We are so grateful for every couple, planner, company, and host who has trusted us to be part of their event story.

Would you have a vintage tap truck at your celebration? Let us know below! 👇
