바르셀로나 해변에서 처음 만난 애니아르보. 신나게 가져와서 해변에 두고 자랑해보았다. 태닝할 때는 주로 Breeze를 썼는데, 일상 생활에서도 신나게 쓰는 중. 이건 다음 기회에 소개해볼게요. 나의 집, 보홀 팡라오에서 다이빙을 할 때는 Terra를 주로 쓰고있다. 산호초를 보호하는 환경친화적인 성분으로 만들어졌고, 기존에 주로 쓰던 서핑용 선스크린과는 비교과 안 될 정도로 부드럽게 발린다. 스틱으로 슥슥 발라준 뒤 손가락으로 부드럽게 펴바르면 태닝이 꽤 되어있는 나의 원래 피부색과 거의 비슷한 정도. 팡라오에 돌아온 지 2주 정도 되었는데 아주 만족하며 쓰고 있다. 다음에는 실제 다이빙 할 때 어느 정도 지워지지 않는지 유지력도 공유해볼게용,, 수트 갈아입구, 슥삭 바른 뒤, 다이빙 하고 난 뒤 테라를 닦아낸 뒤 브리즈를 바릅니다요. 친구 다이버들이 자주 궁금해해서 같이 나눠쓰기도 하구요. 나의 새로운 다이빙 버디, 앞으로도 아주 잘 부탁합니닷🫡🌊🫶🏽 My new diving buddy and also a lovely daily sunscreen ANYARVO has been amazing from our first trip together in Barcelona to my routine in Panglao. I will share more about BREEZE for daily use and tanning, and for now you can see how smoothly TERRA applies to my pretty well tanned skin tone. It feels so soft and natural compared to other zinc products I used to use before. We met not only in the ocean but also in a lovely landlocked town full of hikes and river. I learned a lot about German wine and ended up hypothetically becoming a new resident in town. Two years ago, Kathleen inspired me to want to become a graceful monofiner. Many pieces of what we share stay in my heart and guide me to a new journey. We will meet again, so I didn’t cry, (+1) but I miss our “brotzeit”. (-1) by @love__leey

I had zero expectation for my accommodation as I spent less than 5mins to search and decide, but I fell in love with the place when I got on the old elevator up to the top floor. This old airbnb in the centre of Barcelona has a unique shape. From the kitchen, I need to walk more than 30steps to reach my room. The host couple lives somewhere in the same flat but I have never bumped into them yet. It feels very alone, so I spent lots of time on this window side. From afar I can see one of the Gaudi’s buildings. The Sun comes at 7am and goes at 9pm. One danger here is that sometimes pigeons try to come in the room, so make sure I speak some bird’s language. 숙소 구할 때 5분조차 안 걸렸기 때문에 아무런 기대없이 찾은 이곳을 꽤 좋아하게 되었다. 처음 도착해서 무거운 문을 낑낑 거리며 열고, 아주 오래된 엘레베이터 문을 갸웃거리며 한참을 망설였다. 고장내거나 잘못 만져서 떨어지면 어떡해.. 며칠 지난 지금도 긴장 바싹 한답니다. 오래된 건물의 에어비앤비, 집의 구조가 참 특이하다. 멀리 있는 부엌부터 내 방까지는 30걸음 이상이고, 그 안쪽에 사는 것 같은 호스트 커플은 존재감 조차 느낄 수 없다. 이 고요하고 긴 집에서 주로 창문 근처에 붙어앉아 시간을 보낸다. 아주 멀리에는 가우디 건물이 보이고 따뜻한 색깔의 건물들이 가까이 보인다. 해는 일찍 뜨고 아주 늦게 진다. 딱히 아무 것도 하지 않아도 괜찮은 곳이다. 다만 비둘기가 창문으로 당당하게 행차할 수 있기 때문에 정신을 똑띠 차려야한다. 지금 이글 쓰면서도 한 마리 쫓아냈음. taken in Barcelona, Spain by @love__leey

서울, 사랑하는 도시. 모든 종류의 마음을 갖고 걸어본 적 있는 거리를 오랜만에 찾았다. 오늘은 어떤 마음을 서울에 두고왔냐면 소중한 추억을 사랑하는 사람과 나누는 생각을 했다. 장소 자체가 갖는 매력으로 사람을 이끄는 곳도 있으나, 나는 그곳에 담긴 이야기들을 항상 더 좋아했다. 특별한 게 없는 골목이라도 우리가 정한 의미가 있다면 뭉클한 마음으로 다시 찾는다. 친구의 부모님이 결혼했던 성당을 생각했고, 그의 돌아가신 어머니 무덤가에 앉아 어머니가 좋아하셨던 맥주를 마시며 한참 바라봤던 하늘과 풀밭을 떠올렸다. 그가 어렸을 때 자주 가던 시덥지 않은 수퍼마켓에서 아주 몸에 좋지 않은 군것질거리를 나눠먹었고, 혼자서 털레털레 걸었을 하교길을 한참 후에 둘이 걸었다. 지금의 시간이 그때 외로웠을 꼬마에게 닿길 바라기도 했다. 이런 조각들로 그린 내 마음 속 지도는 선명하다. 서울이란 도시에 두고온 나의 조각들을 사랑하는 이들과 나누는 것을 너무나 좋아한다. 나는 이 거리에서 이런 생각을 했다고, 울기도 자주 했고, 웃기도 했다고. 이런 쓸데없는 정보들을 소중하고 귀하게 다루며, 우리는 더욱 사랑하게 된다고 믿는다. 오랜만에 혼자 걸으며 가을 초입에 선 서울을 잔뜩 구경했다. 다음에는 어떤 마음으로 걷게 되나요, 누구를 떠올리나요, 궁금해하며. 나이가 더 들고 시간이 지나도 이 마음은 변하지 않을 것 같아. 서울이 변하지만 또 결코 바뀌지 않는 것처럼. 소중한 기억이 곳곳에 있다. 반짝이는 나의 지도, 나의 서울. I have my own map of Seoul full of my memories. Today I walked on the familiar streets, thinking of those whom I enjoyed walking with. I also have a map for them, the places that might not be special in scenery, but where they shared their stories with me. This family trip to Anda was Good Thinking. Things could be a little not perfect like a bathroom with open door, a dead gecko in bed, or what else, but anyway we did some cool things. How cool? I literally had no time to take photos or videos other than the cave diving. These humans whom I ask out for everything. There will be time that we wouldn’t be able to share life as much. But I know deep inside my heart, I will always always have these goofballs wondering if they ate what, if they had fun without me. So be ready for lifetime harassment. I’d normally add music, but I can’t with this post. There is a cool reason why. So keep swiping RIGHT, just like when you saw some howt girls and boys on Tinder. 1-4. Water people doing some water things 5. I loved this scenery 6. [disclaimer] THIS WAS TAKEN AT 6AM before some serious hiking. Pretty cool. And SOUND ON 7. Sometimes there are moments in life that are so beautiful to watch and you know you will remember for a long time. We had a father and daughter training together at SuperHOME, and I was already so excited to have them on the same buoy with me, I was waiting with my fully charged camera😎 On their last day of training, we had some time to play around after doing some casual PB🍰 Looking at them finning down to the water together, smiling at each other, I could see all the love flowing in the deep blue ocean. My father always took me for a father and daughter’s date when I was a kid, and we still go on lots of walk together when I go back to Korea. I will never forget all the trips I had with him and all the love I could feel along the road we walk or drive together. He tried to show me a new world and a bigger world. And this time, I was invited to see Lucie’s father introducing the lovely underwater world to his daughter. The world we are deeply in love with. Having this lovely father and daughter reminded me of all the fond memories. Something that makes me who I am, whom I want to be to my loved ones. I gave them a huge hug after the session and said, “this is a beautiful small world, once you are in this world, we will meet again.” I do hope so, and I look forward to our next encounter that would probably make me tear up again. 아빠와 딸이 함께한 바다. 어렸을 적에도, 지금도, 나는 아빠와 둘이 보내는 시간을 사랑한다. 다정한 아빠는 나에게 더 넓고 아름다운 세상을 보여주었다. 그 시간들이 지금의 나를 만들었을 것이다. 두 사람이 사랑스럽게 함께 보낸 바다에서의 시간. 내가 가장 사랑하는 세상을 딸에게 소개하는 아빠를 보며, 여러 번 마음이 따뜻해졌다. 마지막 세션 후, 두 사람을 꼭 안으며, 이 아름답고 조그만 세계에 발을 들인 이상, 우리는 또 만나게 될 거라고 이야기했다. 벌써 기다려지는 다음 번 눈물파티, 사랑쌤이 기다려요..! taken in Panglao, Bohol by @love__leey

Garmin Descent Mk3i, as the official gauge of the AFC 2026, was a lovely companion throughout the entire competition with our full trust on the line. Now, we’re taking things a step further. Peter, Philipp, and John will be testing the gear in real-world operational conditions across our weekly CSTs and upcoming World Apnea @aidafreediving competitions at @freedive_superhome Peter Los @thenethernomad Bringing his thoughtful approach to safety design from AFC 2026 and the SuperHOME safety team to test and refine complete line-safety systems under heavy line use Philipp Heinzelmann @breathholddiary Testing the gear across deep finning and scooter safety runs and his own intense athletic training, applying the same data-driven focus he uses as a multiple national record-holder and creator of @element__08 John Folkvord @johnfolkvord Putting the gear through its paces as an AIDA level B Pool & Depth Judge and veteran safety instructor. He’s also drawing experience from his years organizing the AFC to evaluate how the gear functions in a competition setting, combining the perspective of athletes, safety, and judges with his background in IT I’m very happy to continue this journey alongside Garmin and such a wonderful team. 오롯이 완전한 사랑을 받은 기억은 영원히 내 안에 있다. 할머니에게 배운 사랑은 계산하지 않고 묻지 않고 믿어주기만 해서, 나는 사랑으로 떼쟁이가 되었다. 덕분에 나는 소중한 사람에겐 항상 응석을 부릴 수 있다는 꼬장스런 마음을 가지게 되었다. 다행히도 내가 사랑하는 존재가 떼기장을 쓰길 기다리기도 한다. 단 한번도 의심한 적 없고 거둬진 적 없는 사랑. 아직도 할머니를 생각하면 이별이 서러워. 우리가 헤어진지 수년이 지났어도, 그때 할머니가 90살이 훌쩍 넘은 할머니였다하더라도, 세상이 내게 이럴 순 없는 것이다. 이렇게 좋은 존재를 하루 아침에 빼앗아가다니, 전화를 걸 수 없다니, 만나러 갈 수 없다니. 며칠 새 일정이 바빴고 몸이 지쳤었다. 온갖 것들에 스트레스를 받아 오랜만에 미열이 났다. 그래도 이상했다. 아, 이렇게까지 아플 일은 아닌데, 한창 부정하고 있던 때 동생이 말해주었다. 오늘이 할머니의 기일이라고. 기념일 증후군이라는 전생의 일에서 배웠던 개념을 불러내어본다. 매해 이쯤 영문을 모르고 아플 때가 있었다. 할머니, 나 올해 너무 힘들었어. 이렇게 배신을 당하고 상처받을 줄 알았가면 사랑을 선택하지 않았을까. 하지만 내가 배운 사랑은 그렇지 않아, 나는 오히려 그럼에도 불구하고 내 자신을 바꾸지 않겠다고 재차 다짐했다. 나는 사람을 믿고 싶어, 나는 사랑에 빠지는 걸 좋아해, 이 일이 나를 변화시키지 않도록 명심하는 게 나의 자존심이야. 그말을 하며 나는 할머니를 떠올렸다. 인생의 바닥같던 순간, 나를 구원하는 존재. 이런 사랑을 알고있기에 나는 밥을 먹으러 일어났고, 다이빙을 가고, 친구들에게 기댔다. 앞으로도, 어쩌면 내가 할머니가 될 때까지도 나를 일으켜 세워줄 것이란 사실을 알고 있다. 이런 보물 같은 힘을 온몸에 꼭 품고 산다. 가능하다면 이 사랑을 나누면서. 가장 소중하고 좋은 것을 친구들과 나눠야 한다는 것도 할머니에게 배웠다. I didn’t realise but today is my grandma’s memorial day. She gave me the wholesome love that still protects me and makes me who I am. 2026 AFC를 종합 6위로 마무리하며, 타메라(TAMERA) 선수로서 뜻깊은 성과를 거두었습니다🏆 홍콩 CNF 내셔널 레코드(69m)에 이어 타메라 아툼 롱핀과 함께 81m CWTB 다이빙을 성공리에 마쳤습니다. 이번 대회에서는 CNF에 집중한 트레이닝을 진행했기 때문에 상대적으로 CWTB에는 많은 시간을 할애할 수 없었습니다. 그럼에도 아툼 롱핀이 제 피닝 스타일에 최적화된 덕분에 하강부터 상승까지 매우 편안하게 마칠 수 있었습니다. 작년부터 사용한 아툼 롱핀은 타메라 카본핀 라인 중 단단한 경도를 가졌습니다. 폭이 큰 피닝에 유리하며 파워풀한 힘을 지녔기 때문에 트레이닝 뿐 아니라 세이프티에도 아주 만족스럽게 사용하고 있습니다. 이러한 신뢰를 바탕으로 아툼 롱핀과의 CWTB를 이번 AFC 마지막 다이빙으로 선택하여, 기분 좋은 마무리를 했습니다. 타메라의 글로벌 메이트이자 첫번째 글로벌 엠버서더로 1년간 함께 하며 무한한 신뢰와 응원을 받았습니다. 그 힘으로 올해 대회에서 좋은 결과를 거두며 AFC를 마무리 했습니다. 앞으로 함께 걸어갈 여정에서 제가 받은 만큼의 신뢰를 바탕으로 더 좋은 다이버, 그리고 더욱 든든한 타메라 팀원으로 함께 하겠습니다. 깊은 감사의 마음을 보냅니다. - I wrapped up the 2026 Asian Freediving Cup as a TAMERA athlete with results I am truly proud of, finishing 6th overall in the competition. Along with setting a Hong Kong National Record in CNF at 69m, completing an 81m CWTB dive with the TAMERA AtuM long fins made for a solid competition. Because my training leading up to the AFC focused almost exclusively on CNF, I had very little time to prepare for other disciplines. Yet, because the AtuM long fins fit my finning style so well, both the descent and ascent felt efficient and controlled. I have been using the AtuM long fins since last year. They feature high stiffness in TAMERA’s carbon line, making them ideal for wide finning strokes that require raw propulsion. Beyond training, they give me full confidence when running safety for other divers. Trusting that performance, I chose them for my final CWTB dive to close out the AFC. Serving as TAMERA’s Global Mate and first Global Ambassador over the past year has given me incredible support. That backing directly contributed to my performance at this year's competition.
