Families on film. I had a spot open up this weekend - and I have some weekday availability before the new year for portraits. Families, couples, creative portraits. Brands. Get in touch.

Thankful for all of my clients near and far who trust me to look on them with love.

Love to these sisters and the bond they share and their big big love. Swipe for my assistant falling asleep on the job.

Sometimes it’s the simple portraits that are my favorite. Sometimes it’s that teenage parental disgust.

Get in touch for your fall photos - emails went out to my repeat clients. Do you want on my email list? Reach out. Let’s dream up something fun and totally you.

American teenager

What are your kids/teens into? Let’s design a whole editorial photoshoot around that. My fall calendar is filling up and emails will be going out to my repeat clients shortly- you get first dibs as always. Reach out if you want portraits and let’s make it happen.

And I happen to love photographing teens. Let’s talk about what your photoshoot could look like.

And hi from me - sneaking myself into a photo #1

Always a treat to have an image published in @heartfulmagazine and loving this cropped version of this photo even more.

I still have one spot open for photos in San Francisco Sept 18-21 so get in touch if you wanna chat about making photos together. Or you wanna meet me at LCD SoundSytem sat night dancing my face off!

PS. Wanna check out what is possible in the world of family lifestyle photography? Check out the magazine by commenting FALL25 on any @heartfulmagazine posts.

San Francisco - I’ll be back Sept 18-21 and I have room for some photos. Let’s make something amazing. You don’t have to have a vintage car, but if you do we are most definitely making some images with it.

Beautiful mama @katherinedianne and her babe.

Reminder: I’m back in town and want to make photos with you! Booking fall portraits - all the things. Reach out. I especially want to make some summer themed photos with you and your fam while it’s still hot. Think pool or popsicles or sprinklers or picnics. Whatever that perfect summer day looks like for you.

And a note about single motherhood. I am so used to doing everything alone. It almost never occurs to me to ask for help. (I don’t have family in Austin or TX for that matter). The other day as I hosted 17 13-year-olds at a pool for Cleo’s birthday, and I was loading out and her balloons got wrapped up in the tires of the cart full of 17 gifts and a cooler and decorations and I was on my hands and knees on the 105 degree pool deck ready to cry or scream trying to rescue those balloons it dawned on me. Why was I doing this alone? Have I become to accustomed to doing it all? Doing it all alone? Yes. Do I forget to ask for help? Yes. Am I a bad ass? Yes. But also I don’t have to do it all alone. Should have invited a friend.
So here’s to Kat and all the other single mamas doing it all, because they have to.

Katy and Peter’s intimate courthouse wedding was one of those sweet ones. Family and everything that’s important, nothing else. So honored to be invited in as a witness.
