D23 the ultimate fan experience is coming up next month! Are you going to go? I went for the first time in 2024! (It's every 2 years) and I had a great time. I thought it would mostly be shopping and panels, but imagine my surprise at the fun interactive booths!

This one was for Marvel Studios and it featured Agatha, TWA, and of course this interaction with Rocket! I didn't know that going in (and I was dressed as Ariel from the little mermaid 😅 so not even on theme!) so I was super surprised he was talking to me. He was so funny and so were the guards when we were waiting. There were so many multiverses!

I'm excited for what other interactions I'll get when I attend next month!

You'll Always Find Your Way Back Home

Fun times at Disney channel nite. I love seeing the random rare characters that make an appearance, the fun backdrops to take pictures, and the different food that Disney creates! (Did anyone try the Dino nuggies?)

I don't normally go on rides while I'm there since I have a Magic Key and can go anytime, so I can concentrate on the photopass spots and chase characters with my friends.

Napa Rose has been on my list since the remodel, and after finally dining here, I left happy, just not completely blown away.

The atmosphere is exactly what you'd hope for from Disney's signature dining experience: refined, intimate, and effortlessly elegant. It's balance between upscale and welcoming, making it feel special without being overly formal.

The savory courses showcased quality ingredients and thoughtful technique. Every plate was beautifully created, with clean flavors and careful execution. While I enjoyed everything I ordered, none of the dishes quite reached that "I can't stop thinking about this" level that defines a truly exceptional meal for me.

Dessert, unfortunately, was where it fell flat. They were visually stunning, but the flavors didn't land for my palate. I was hoping for something more memorable to finish the meal.

That said, I'd absolutely return. Napa Rose has a reputation for letting the kitchen really shine through its Chef's Tasting Menu, and after this visit, that's the experience I'm most interested in trying. I have a feeling that's where the creativity and seasonal ingredients really get to take center stage.

Overall: 3.5/5 ⭐️ — beautiful setting, solid execution, and enough promise to make me want to come back for the tasting menu.

Lunar New Year 🧧 at the Disneyland resort has come and gone, but it still lives in my heart. 🙂

I have been going to Disney since before the started celebrating for the first time in 2010 and it's so fun how much they've improved and done over the years. The parade with the lion dance, the ethnic food, and fun activities!

It's enjoyable to take pictures with Mickey and Minnie Mouse in their hanboks, Donald and Daisy Duck and Horsecollar with them qi Paos? There was even a red panda! What was your favorite thing about the Lunar New Year event?

Yesterday is rarely too early, but tomorrow is frequently too late.

Wow, when is the last time I posted? last year? Also around the same time I actually ate at club 33? I'm very late to this post.

This was taken for Eileen's birthday in November during Christmas time. I had a wonderful time, the food was great, the company was fun, and the decor was beautiful. I am grateful for this chance to go and hope that this won't be the last. 🥰

Life has been pretty busy, trying to hold on tight to what we can. Time goes by so fast and before you know it, it's 20 years later and you forget to post again. 😂 I'll try to post again soon!

Have you ever had a royal performance with the Stepfamily of Cinderella?

I met them on Halloween when more characters were out ! They loved our Halloween festive holiday attire! They even talked about Lucifer and how they were disappointed in Cinderella! It was all fun and games. Meet and greets with rare Disney characters is so fun!

I went to Disneyland today to see if the counter for the magic key annual pass was accurate and how it worked.

So far what I've gathered is that it's counted since Covid as long as you renewed, so in my case, August 2021. Since it counts twice for parking, Disneyland, DCA, if I divide 548 in half it'll 274 visits in the last 4 years which seems pretty accurate to me!

What do you guys think?
Should I use my parking pass and NOT go into Disney tomorrow and see if I get a counter point of 1 or 2 or 0?

This is the Disney investigation I'm after. 😂

Shrines feel like a step into another world.

I'm back in Japan again! This time it's not at Tokyo Disney since it was a short work trip. I was able to stop by the Tokyo grand train station and the Hakone Shrine.

Traveling for work is fun sometimes, but full of meetings and stressful questions. At least I got a beautiful city with lots to offer.
