TW: PPA/PPD, intrusive thoughts.

Postpartum can be such a bumpy ride—hormones all over the place, learning your baby, NO sleep, and if it’s not your first, juggling even more. It can be kinda ghetto😭

I finally feel like I’m climbing out now that my baby’s almost one, but it literally feels like just yesterday that things felt so dark.

I feel really lucky to have a partner who makes me feel seen. And because this wasn’t my first child, I had this tiny sense that things would get better, even when it didn’t feel like it in the moment.

If you’re in it right now, you’re not alone and this is such a common experience.

I hope some of the things that helped me might help you too🫶🏽
