This project is probably the most personal body of work I’ve ever created. I wanted to talk about fatherhood from every angle. Being a father, being a son, raising my kids, Black Fatherhood, learning from my own dad, and trying to become the man my kids deserve.

This album is for my kids. For the Lineage of black fathers that came before me. For anybody who’s ever had to figure out what love, family, and responsibility really mean.

We sold out my first ever pop-up event in my hometown! @tidal!!! Y’all showed me so much love. It was beautiful meeting new faces, seeing familiar ones, and feeling embraced by my city, fans, friends, and family. I’m truly overwhelmed with joy.🫶🏽.

What a year🙏🏽✨ from being featured on @billboard as a fresh pick of the week for my album, invited to the @betawards, considered for two @grammys, the birth of my daughter, getting engaged to the love of my life my life, playing at the coliseum @oaklandroots and @oaklandarena , winning a championship as a owner @oakland.ballers, movie red carpets, and much more!!!
