Sometimes it’s not always a loud declaration or even a soft whisper in the wind BECAUSE… that night the wind spoke loudly declaring rage…
fury sparked and ignited rapture of pain
abolishing the soul of our Existence!
Distroying footsteps ROOTED on top the hill where PEACE lived!

FEAR looks like, what it is!
It’s a storm of hot embers racing, erasing, devastating!
It’s stillness, interrupted by reality!
It’s like tears running down my face at 2am
like being stuck, staring into space… stuck in a moment of yesterday gone,
It looks like reaching for the familiar, of what no longer exist!
It’s the precious memories stolen from comfort and stripped from sight,
It’s time ignored and erased in a night of impetuosity!
It’s the memories fading in 80 score plus years of life!

Blinded by the smoke of tragedy and unsure of tomorrow’s promise, sleep passes. In the darkness, uncomfortable thoughts of change force recognition of no return to what I knew as home. It’s here in this space that reality speaks, but uncomprehensible!
Scattered, disoriented, and uncertain,
Challenged, vulnerable, humble…
Forced to sit and process, learn, and grow through it…

Right in the middle of the mess is the birthplace of our existence.
This pain of loss is the catalyst and foundation for our growth.
The power to rise isn’t about having all the answers or feeling strong every day, it’s about taking one step at a time even when the path is unsure. It’s about choosing to keep moving forward.
Redefining, rebuilding, rewriting life…
Transforming!

In tragedy we find the best versions of ourselves!
Nurturing gestures embraced, heart filled with gratitude and favor of goodness!

Each ounce of strength, resilience, and courage allows us to sift through the rubble and
just as the Phoenix rises from the ashes, WE TOO SHALL RISE!
