My favorite hug of the year 💕

As Colin said, “All that care and hard work coming down to one huge hug!”

I feel so incredibly lucky to do something I’m so passionate about. To be surrounded by such loving humans and to watch them grow and flourish, not only in the ocean but in life.

Surfing is so much more than riding waves on a surfboard. First and foremost, it’s about feeling comfortable and confident in the ocean.

We like to say: you can’t ride waves in conditions you don’t feel comfortable swimming in. Because no matter how good you are, you always have to be prepared to lose your board.

Building ocean confidence, understanding the conditions, and knowing how to handle yourself in the water. That’s where surfing really begins. 🌊 taken in Hamptons by @loving.adventures

Not all heroes wear capes. Some of them wear rash guards.
And sunscreen. Lots of it. ☀️

Every wave caught, every bit of courage found, every high five, every cheer, every laugh, and every sandy smile… none of this happens without our incredible coaches.

These coaches aren’t just sharing their love for the ocean, they’re creating a safe space for kids to grow, build confidence, and discover what they’re capable of. Their patience, enthusiasm, encouragement, and strength in the ocean all play a part in making each summer so special.

We are beyond grateful for a team that feels more like family than coworkers. 🤍

The five-week mark is always one of my favorite traditions because the kids get to hand out coach awards. This year’s winners were:
