I feel so incredibly lucky to do something I’m so passionate about. To be surrounded by such loving humans and to watch them grow and flourish, not only in the ocean but in life.

It’s not just a surf camp. It’s a community. And for that, I couldn’t be more grateful. 🤍

@loving.adventures appreciation post! 💙 It’s been just about one week since Surf Camp ended and A whole lot of missing those mornings and reflecting! Feeling an immense amount of gratitude after these 10 long weeks. We had the most epic season. Many days of perfect conditions, some days of bigger swell (perfect for getting pitted) and some days that left us feeling oh so humbled. It has been the most rewarding feeling to watch so many of these kids grow as surfers and ocean lovers. I am a better person because of this job, and for that I would love to thank @jacky_wo 💙 Thank you for having me be a part of such an amazing team. The way you are with the kids is nothing short of inspiring. An amazing teacher, leader, coach and all around being. Meet Emelia, a non-speaking autistic child, and one of the most inspiring and incredible rocco up students we have ever had. Her amazing mother Maura brought her here all the way from Wisconsin to learn to swim. By day one, she was swimming without any floatation. By day two, she was doing this…. Picking things up from the bottom of the pool without any physical assistance whatsoever. What you see here in this video is Ben Intonato using the rocco Up method; of using energy to produce new gross motor pathways in non-speaking autistics. A little dream come true.
We are so so lucky to spend our days on the beach. To play in the water and witness animals in their habitat.
The kids were beyond themselves when they saw the size of the pod. One girl was so close, she said she could see the details.
First day bringing the drone to camp and lucked out watching the magic.
