Soaking up an incredibly special weekend retreat.

It was a space filled with so much love, sisterhood, deeep rest, giggles, and big belly laughs - it was everything we dreamed of and more.

It felt like a portal. By the Saturday afternoon, everyone was glowing, by the Sunday morning we cried witnessing how freely everyone was moving - it felt like such a privilege to witness the shifts.

Thank you to all of the incredible women (and baby) who joined us and made this space so special ~ we have been reminded of the absolute magic that happens when women gather.

Grateful to have held this retreat with my dear friend and partner in crime @gracebowering ~ it is a joy to do this with you ~ thank you for holding me and cheering me on.

Thank you to @the.croft.farm.escape for welcoming us with open arms and hosting us and thank you to Abs @eat_breathe_be for nourishing us with your delicious food.

Thank you to @aliceashley for capturing our retreat with such care, creativity & play.

What a team.

Thank you to @mother_cuppatea for supplying us with the most delicious teas from their Wellness Collection.

And to @wilder.botanics for your gorgeous Heartfelt & Sunrise Loose Leaf Teas & Radiance Drops Tincture.

And to @fushiwellbeing for providing our guests with a gorgeous Muscle & Joints Oil for an extra bit of pampering.

Feeling blessed 🌹

The experience is definitely still landing for us; we’ve both been pouring so much love into the preparation of the space all year long and will have much more to share as the weeks go by. by @loving_evolution

Ridiculously grateful. Moving slowly. The friendliest people. Lush & green. Fresh fruits & coconut. An abundance of rice & curry. Falling back in love with my practices. And the reminder not to have an ice cream in an open top Jeep. by @loving_evolution

I’m continuing to slow down over the next month, and as part of this, I’m taking more time away from social media to give myself some proper rest. You might see me popping up every now and then, but I’ll continue to be pretty quiet on here.

There will be no weekly classes on 27th August & 3rd Sept as I’ll be on holiday.

All other weekly Thursday classes will be on as usual.

I’m continuing to work with all current 1:1 clients. I’m currently at full capacity with these sessions and will be taking new clients when spaces open up from mid October onwards. If you’re interested in working together in this way, head to my website to join the waitlist (link in bio).

You’ll be able to find out more about the somatic rest workshops for the rest of the year via the link in my bio later today too.

I guess I want to let you know that I’m still here, just honouring my energy as I give myself permission to slow down. Grateful for an incredible year so far sharing experiences I have dreamt of for so long. Thank you for being here ❣️

What a privelige it is to witness people finding freedom in their bodies again.

To gently move from suppression to expression.

To allow our aliveness to move us once more.

“In many shamanic societies, if you came to a medicine person complaining of being disheartened, dispirited, or depressed, they would ask one of four questions: “When did you stop dancing? When did you stop singing? When did you stop being enchanted by stories? When did you stop being comforted by the sweet territory of silence?”

Here are just a handful of the many ways yoga and somatics have supported my mental health (which, in reality, goes far beyond just mental health) 𖦹 There are so many more layers to it, and so much happening beneath the surface.

Over the past 9 years, these practices have supported me through multiple recovery journeys and the inevitable day-to-day highs and lows of being human.

It feels like such a privilege and a blessing to share these practices, tools, and teachings with others. by @loving_evolution

With the tendency to always reach for more and so many things fighting for our attention, often the medicine is in the simplicity after all.

When did you last just sit with yourself?

When did you last place your hands on your heart and listen?

When did you last return to your centre?

Not to bypass anything, but to cut through the noise and to listen to what’s truly important for you. To feel. To move and take action from a centred and intentional place > being stuck in overwhelm, overdrive, or frozen.

In a noisy world, returning to the simple, subtle, and little things can be medicine. by @loving_evolution

For some of us, our inner fire; our life force, our vitality, our power, gets dimmed or stifled, perhaps at a very young age.

We can be left feeling a little flat, unable to fully assert ourselves or advocate for our needs.

Stoking our inner fire and gently mobilising our fight response can support us to reclaim our anger, our no, and perhaps our rage; to set boundaries, advocate for ourselves and others, and reclaim our power.

For many people, this has never felt safe.

In slow and titrated ways, we can support our nervous systems to feel safe enough to access this response again, reigniting the fire that has always been there beneath the surface.

And when we do, very often our spark begins to return. by @loving_evolution
