Would you stand in the ‘playful’ or the ‘serious’ circle?

We’re heading out to deconstruct social norms again tomorrow- we call this ‘Streetwork’. We aim to transform public spaces into places for sincere human interaction, playful learning and intuitive communal ritual.

Yesterday we had a really touching moment we would like to share with you!!!! (Especially his little solo at the end)

Quick quest update: we’ve joined forces with @jonasdebeuk and @jpilau, and our combined intuitions have led us to Kerala to immerse ourselves in Indian classical music.

We stumbled onto the path of a wise and beautiful man, Sucheendran, who has devoted the last 28 years to creating and supporting the traditional arts, often out of his own pocket, purely for the love of beauty. Each day, we sit with him and learn the ancient art of Carnatic singing.

Yesterday, Sucheendran asked us to share with him the chants we’ve been learning from the Amazonian Yawanawa tribe (passed down by our dear teacher and friend Mawa Isa). As we sang, he joined with his voice, and this video is what we discovered - possibly the first time these two musical lineages have danced together ❤️ by @lovingdankness
