Wow what a special daddy daughter vacation, following a Fathers Day that I got to spend on a long bike ride with my son.
Emery and I spent the week in Invermere and Golden BC camping, hot springs, paddleboard, white water rafting, ropes course, and a very exciting Via Ferrata climbing experience at Kicking Horse.
Lots of exciting memories. Most of all it was incredibly special to spend such quality one on one time with my little girl (who isn’t so little anymore). I truly loved e wry second of this time with you, Emery. I’m proud of the beautiful young lady you are becoming inside and out. My heart is FULL. What a special and memorable vacation with me and my kiddos…who aren’t exactly kiddos anymore. These moments are absolutely priceless and mean the world to me. I’m so glad I made this trip happen. It’s been a dream of mine to introduce my kids to scuba diving. I wasn’t sure if they would be into it. Signed them up for an intro class in Cozumel. And both of them were excited to do the open ocean dive following. Both Trace and Emery did amazing and are naturals. We ended up doing a second dive today (not shown in pics) that was a bit deeper, better vis, and a fantastic all around dive. I’m so grateful to share my love of the ocean with my kids. This lady!! Boy did I hit the jackpot! 50 years old and I’ve never been more in love or more attracted to a woman. I feel so much gratitude to be your partner in life. I’ll spend the rest of my life loving you in all the ways I can. You are a gift to me and to all those lucky enough to know you. Here’s to the next 50. May we be skiing on your 100th birthday.

This is 50! And the best New Year’s Eve birthday party a girl could possibly ask for. I am at a loss for words to express the depth of gratitude I feel for my community of friends and family who showed up for a vision of an epic celebration to kick off 2026 — and my 50th spin around the sun. We nailed it! So many kind words, laughs, smiles, dance moves, and memories were made and shared as we rung in the new year in style (and silliness)! I’m grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for being a unique expression of love, curiosity, creativity, and humanness. ✨🖤✨ I’m also feeling grateful for my health. 50 is not what it used to be. I’m fortunate to live in a time where I feel empowered to fuel my body, mind, and spirit with the things that lift me up, give me strength, energize my vitality, and keep me feeling like the best time of my life is now (and I think it will keep getting better.) Feeling grateful to be a part of such a special celebration and honoring of Jerry Garcia for three full days! Every day was amazing and every show better than the last. The mastery of these musicians and their instruments is so amazingly off the charts it blows my mind every time I see them! 🤯 Seeing Trey Anastasio jam with the band was next level. I can still feel it in my soul.

And so grateful for the friends we have connected with in this wonderful community of beautiful weirdos. My favorite kind of people. ✨🤩 Epic after parties too! Especially seeing Garrett from Jerry’s Middle Finger & his buddies at Balboa. Thanks @meikotakayama for the tip…and the tickets! Thanks @rainbow_chaser77 for being so friendly and sweet.

Today was the sweetest Father’s Day for me, spending quality time (my #1 love language) with Trace, Emery, and Steph on the water. Feeling grateful and blessed and loved.
Love and appreciation for my Dad who is living life to the fullest.
At the same time I’m feeling sad for my niece and nephew that just lost their Dad too soon. My heart goes out to you and all those that don’t have a Dad in their life. ❤️ taken in Clark Fork, Idaho by @lovinglionrick
