Throughout the year I've been travelling to Castlemaine to help Clem shoot her upcoming cookbook. We've taped coloured boards to bricks, eaten entire lunches via the back of a ute, chased the light through every season, and I've finally started getting along with the cats. I'm learning so much, and you can see it in the way the seasons shift through the images. I love shooting food, I love doing the dishes (but not at home?), and most of all I love eating all the food. Clem's cookbook launches soon and I can't wait to see it out in the world. by @lowproductivity

I love being on the farm. I love the day-to-day, the jobs that need doing. As much as my sister loves to joke that I'm cosplaying a culture I don't belong to, and despite the fact I spend most of my week wearing garden clogs in a boutique on Gertrude Street - this is where I come from.

These photos mean a lot to me because Mum learnt how to use my camera just so she could help make them. She's endlessly patient, always happy to go with the flow, usually asking, "Is this a look Jess?" @photosby_ellieking, on the other hand, is one of the only people who can actually get a photo of me that feels like me.
