What happens at YOU… taken in ARQ Sydney by @lozich

13 weeks of @arqsydney and @yes.you.party

And there’s something really special about what YOU are creating here.

I love seeing my name up on the big screen, I love the lights, the production and everything that comes with being a DJ but what I really love about YOU is that they’ve stripped all of that back.

The priority isn’t the DJ.
It isn’t the drag queen.
It isn’t who’s on the biggest poster.

The priority is YOU.

Making sure everyone who walks through those doors has the best night possible.

Different rooms. Different sounds. Different energy. Rotating the spaces each week so there’s always somewhere to find the music and atmosphere you love.

It’s about the dancefloor.
It’s about the people on it.
It’s about creating a space where everyone can come together and just dance.

And honestly, when you look around a room like this, you realise just how special that is. Even when NSWP try to ruin the fun

Big love to everyone behind @yes.you.party for bringing ARQ back to life and putting the focus exactly where it belongs on the people who show up. @jesse_lawsonn @lozich and @lawsonamelia + the team are putting there all into making this one of the best night life spaces in Sydney.

So if you want this to stay alive, show up and support it.
Buy the ticket. Bring your friends. Fill the rooms.
let’s keep ARQ alive. 💛💛💛

Summer is about to be a TIME with YOU

Bruno reckons he’s shy. “It doesn’t look like I’m shy, but I’m really shy... especially with people.”

So walking into a group class eight months ago was the hard bit. He’d been trying to train on his own and it wasn’t happening, “when you’re training by yourself, it’s just like too hard.”

A couple of friends already trained at BBB Darlo and kept telling him to come to a class. He came once and that was it.

Two or three sessions a week turned into six. He dropped 12 kilos in three months. Muscle-ups and PRs he didn’t think he had in him.

What we rate most about Bruno is what he does with it now. He remembers exactly how the first day felt, so he’s the one who goes over to whoever’s new. “I know their feelings. I try to make everyone welcome when I see them.”

Thanks for being you Bruno!. taken in Sydney, Australia by @lozich

It was INSANE!

There’s no way to describe what we’ve lived through these past few years with DéjàVu. But this past Saturday will definitely stay in everyone’s memory.

“What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.”

Thank you for everything!
