Beautiful and brutal Sierras. Thunderstorms kicked us off the John Muir Evolution Valley loop (teaching my ego it has nothing to do with it!) so we regrouped and did 32 miles of the PCT/Tahoe Rim Trail in 2 days. My heart is breaking and filled with so much at the same time. @davedawson1972 I love you, I love your joy, your delight and pride when you looked at your sons, your big generous heart creating experiences for all your friends, your brilliance in bringing talent together, taking design to the heights and depths to create beauty in our homes all over the world. I loved when you let loose with us, felt the unconditional love and laughed until tears rolled and bellies ached. They broke the mold when you were made. 50 today. 1 thing I know for sure, I came down the stardust water slide face first saying “YES” to look and not look away, to feel and experience the fullness of life. All the love and the grief, ecstasy elation shame and sorrow, belly hurting, tears of laughter joy and look at fear ✨ 👁️ ✨. Here for all of it. Gah the gratitude, on my knees grateful for the safety, abundance and support in this life that allows me the space to explore the depths of my interiority, break cycles and reclaim my energy. Lately in my inner work there’s been a big re orientation, a returning, re remembering my center. The center of my center is a light filament so radiant so brilliantly bright that when that is fully filly my field there’s nothing but love and compassion. The other thing I know for sure, We are love. And paradoxically going inward, re centering me as the center is not “selfish” at all but rather radiating full of Self energy love is the most generous thing I can do for the world.
