Couldn't be happier! Even though I didn't beat my best time at this distance, I cut 15 minutes off last year's time at this same race, @ironmanmexico Cozumel 70.3 (1,900m swim, 90km bike, 21km run)!

I had a rough night before the race. My asthma kept me up and I only got 50 minutes of sleep. When I woke up, all I could think about was finishing. It was going to be a race just for the medal, no matter the time.

But I surprised myself with how well the swim went, so I decided to give it everything, on the bike,it went better than planned, and so did the run. Even though the heat was brutal and I was starting to feel tired, I kept seeing that I could give more and more! Until I crossed the finish line! ❤️

With a time of 5hrs 49mins!!! Grateful for the support of every single one of you!! Your support along the course, that energy is what carries me to the finish line even on the toughest days ❤️❤️

3 Days for Ironman 70.3 Cozumel, time to add one more finish line.
