Mis hijos son mi mayor motivación. ❤️

Most nutritional products on the market are full of added sugar and incomplete formulas that don’t necessarily help improve athletic performance!

With #qonutrition, we help the body eliminate blood sugar spikes caused by sugar consumption, since it contains no added sugar and includes natural ingredients such as cinnamon, which help regulate blood sugar and calm stomach distress caused by high sugar consumption (diabetic-friendly).

We also have an electrolyte formula with the highest sodium content on the market, helping the body regulate cramps, stomach distress, fatigue, and thermoregulate body temperature!

Meet ✨Jonathan✨
200hr RYT

1. Where are you from?
I’m from Rincón, Puerto Rico. I’ve lived here my entire life, this town is a part of who I am.

2. What does yoga mean to you?
Yoga is where I learn to listen to my body. As an ultradistance triathlete, I spend countless hours pushing it to its limits, so my mat becomes the place where I can turn down the noise, breathe, and reconnect with myself. More than stretching or poses, yoga is pure presence. Honestly, it’s been one of the most important tools in my personal transformation.

3. Words that describe your teaching style:
Mindful, athletic, accessible, and intentional. I aim for every class to have both presence and purpose, while still embracing the physical practice.

4. What do you enjoy doing outside of teaching?
If I’m not teaching, I’m probably swimming, cycling, or running. I’m an ultradistance triathlete and an IRONMAN finisher, so I train twice a day. Other passions of mine include playing chess, listening to audiobooks while I train, slowly learning Portuguese, and creating content to share my daily life with my community online.

5. Fun fact:
I won first place in my very first ultradistance triathlon. It was an unforgettable experience that shaped my journey as an athlete and confirmed that endurance sports would become a fundamental part of my life.

6. Current class schedule:
Hatha Vinyasa — Sundays at 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
And Energy Center Hatha- Thursdays 6:00PM‼️

New teacher/class announcement for July! Hatha Vinyasa for athletes Thursday’s at 10am with Jonathan!

Jonathan is a certified Hatha and Vinyasa instructor whose teaching is deeply rooted in his background as an endurance athlete. While training for and competing in ultra-distance triathlons, he initially turned to yoga simply to help with physical recovery and mobility. But what started as a basic addition to his training routine quickly became a way of life and a truly transformative practice.

Jonathan teaches bilingual Hatha Vinyasa classes—flowing seamlessly between English and Spanish—designed specifically around the physical and mental benefits of yoga for athletes and anyone with an active lifestyle. By blending the dynamic movement of Vinyasa with the mindful awareness of Hatha, his classes help students prevent injuries, build mental resilience, and find that sweet spot between hard work and deep rest. Whether you are recovering from a grueling race or just need a moment to reconnect with your breath, Jonathan is there to help you find your balance, both on and off the mat.
