Dear @instagram. Im so mad at you…
I can’t believe you wouldn’t let me post this video in its native crop (the one with the white boarders) you’re cutting off the sides, and adding black space to the top and bottom to “fill the screen”

But I don’t want that.
I want this video to look like a photo. And to feel like a photo.
But no… you need to “optimize everything”

And I think that’s stupid

posting this while completely off grid. Surrounded by nature. Working from my computer. Using Starlink satellite wifi.

This post is not sponsored by Starlink. Nor I don’t think they would care. But I’m in love with it. The realization that I can work anywhere in the world. As long and I have my computer, my midi keyboard, and some wifi. Is pretty incredible.

Also, yes.. I got a truck. Im low-key flexing it here. Just take it..
But for those who remember my first ad… the first video I posted that launched my 90 track discography. The one where I said “if this goes well i’ll buy a truck”

I’ve blacked out…
this summer has been a wash of sweat, dirt, pools, Love, joy, work, laughter. Sooo much laughter.

I feel safe, loved, blessed.
I am rich, spoiled. I am whole.

And the thing I’m most proud of is how peaceful it all is. I look down at my hands. And they’re steady. I lay my head on the pillow, and I sleep. It’s like, … it’s like, I’m right where I’m supposed to be.

I’m not doing too much. But I’m doing the things I want to be doing. life feels fast, and slow at the same time. i love the sounds. so many beautiful sounds to hear. the chickens, the kids, the hammers —siding, the music… oh the music. dogs playing, the birds singing. its all music to me.

oh! and friends visiting. Two BBQs in two days. i felt tired, but full. its like i let open a window and now im being flooded with light. and i can barely take it. last year was so dark. im not used to this blinding joy. but ill take it. im drinking it in like sweet wine, and im envious for every drop. by @lsaachaines

it’s true,

A few months ago I created, and released a sound fx pack.
Not just random sounds. But sounds that are designed for film. Made to elevate your edits.

It’s got:
• 70 RISERS
• 40 IMPACTS
• 30 SWOOSHS
• 24 EXPERIMENTAL

That’s 164 sounds in total

I created each sound myself (with the help of my five year old son) we drove around the countryside. And found cool looking infrastructures that created incredible sounds. Everything was recorded in its natural environment. so there’s a lot of texture and everything.

I love using the sounds myself. And I hope you’ll find them beneficial while editing

I just wanna try this…
If I like the vibes I’ll run it forever. Because I genuinely want to encourage people to do good things in the world. Big or small. And sometimes it’s the small things that have the biggest impact.

so if you watched the video, you know that i’m officially offering you a way of getting one of my products for free

Basically, all you need to do is really bless somebody. And do some sort of kindness in the world on my behalf. And then email me and tell me about it. And then I’ll send you a code to cop either I discography, or my sound effects pack completely for free.

i’m doing this for those who might not be able to afford my music (even at the minimum) or for whatever reason can’t justify the price. It’s not my place to judge. But I desperately want everybody to have access to my music and feel inspired to create. Then actually go out and create beautiful things.

so, if you’re reading this and you want my music on my sound effects pack take some time today and bless the people around you and then email me and tell me about it. It’s that simple

Hopefully this can set off a small ripple effect of good vibes around the world

still in disbelief…

when I launched PR001 I had no idea it would go as far as it’s gone. I hate to sound like a resounding gong, but this project has completely changed my life. and I am so grateful for everyone who has clicked on one of my videos, who took the time to listen to my music, and are now using my music to create amazing things

all this came down to me believing in myself.
And not giving up, even when I had no energy to keep going.

And now I’m sharing my story.
I received enough DM’s, messages and emails from people telling me that my journey has inspired them and motivated them.

It’s made me realize I was not alone in going through a tough time.

And it made me realize I don’t need to be embarrassed, or ashamed about talking about it.

I know I’m not changing the world. I know I’m not doing anything groundbreaking. But I’m making my life the life of my family a little bit easier, fun and exciting.

And that’s worth celebrating

It’s crazy how fast life can change…

A year ago, I was not in a good place.
i know I’ve said this before. But I haven’t even scratched the surface of it.
And really, the reason I’m choosing to share this is just in case there’s a father (or mother) out there who might be in a similar place.

The weight of the world on your shoulders. and no one to help you but yourself. (at least that’s what it felt like) I’m not sure if I should be specific here. or vague. What would be more helpful? (You can DM me if you feel led)

But, for the sake of keeping this positive…
I want to say. Life will always return to beauty.
i belive its how life works.
and if you’re in the dark right now.
and if you feel alone,
1. you’re not alone
2. Life has something special for you, and it might just be around the corner.

So, in closing. If you’re reading this. And lowkey you’re struggling. i fucking promise you life will be good. I promise you. Just hang in there. Believe in yourself. focus on being kind. Focus on doing good things. Focus on love. Love those around you. Want the best for yourself. don’t give up. You can do this. And you WILL do this

I promise you.
